My husbands meal was good for him (fish and chips) our appetizer was good; the disappointing part was my wings were soggy and undercooked.
Poor service from right when we walked in. Server seemed annoyed that we came in that day. She told us she would take our drinks, but wanted to know if we were ordering food. We said yes. She said well anything fried would be a 15-20 min wait as the fryer had to be reset. We said that was fine and put our drink order in. She came back to take our order about 10 minutes later. A couple people ordered fried food, she said, I told you the fryer was down. We were all confused and said oh so we can't order fried food? She said no. I asked why she told us it would just need to be a 15-20 min wait before and now we can't order food. She said well it will still be a 15-20 min wait I said you told us that about 10 minutes ago and we were fine with waiting, I thought we could just put the order in and then when it came back up you wouldn't need to come back and take our order. She was visibly frustrated and said I guess that's fine. Food was not very great, but it was fine. We asked for our bill multiple times and could not get it. We waited about 30 minutes before I finally just walked behind the bar and asked 3 of the workers that were back there. One brought it to me right away with a credit card machine. Handed the card machine to me and said here you go. It did not work, the card reader was not connected according to the screen. Had to flag someone else down to bring another one. They brought another one and that one worked. No one said they apologized for our wait or anything. I would have understood them being short and rude if I was rude and short with them, I was very polite and respectful, I just wanted to pay my bill and leave.
Angelo, our server, was amazing! The facility was very new and clean. Only complaint was how cold it was. We were most comfortable wearing our winter coats inside.
Service was very spotty and slow; we had to request things multiple times. Also, be aware that when they bring your bill on their auto payment device their suggested tip amounts include all the game cards you purchased through your server as well! You should only need to tip on the food and will have to figure that out without seeing a printed bill! Overall, this is a very expensive afternoon but the kids DO love it! Food is mediocre as might be expected!
It is what I expected. A loud Sports Bar. But was unable to get a seat in the Sports section, near the TV's for Football. We had a Reservation. Was seated 20' from the Front Doors. When people came in the Door, all the cold air would blow all over us. And when our Food came, it was not hot. Dave & Busters, is just a Chuck E Cheese for adults. I'm happy I tried it. Don't know that I will go back?
Dining room is not separate so it's extremely loud and hard to hear the person across the table.
We had our small family Christmas Eve dinner here with 3 children, 3 teens and 5 adults. The food was great and the amusements fun. It was a little too loud for our 4 year olds, but we knew ahead of time to bring headphones to dull the noise for them.
This was a family gathering for Christmas. We had 5 teenagers and 6 adults. Food was great and we were able to order from the menu. Teenagers had a great time at the arcade games. Would definitely go again.
My main complaint is that D&B has always been geared towards adults. Way too many kids running around for my liking. There are other places to take kids in the area. Leave D&B for the grown-ups and leave the kids at home
This is just not my kind of restaurant. I have no interest in playing games while I dine. Even though I had an Open Table reservation and requested a high top in the bar, there wasn't one available so we were seated right next to the gaming area instead. The hostess didn't seem to care what we wanted. It was so loud you couldn't even have a conversation at your own table. We waited quite a while for anyone to come to take our drink order and they only came because one person in our party sought them out and told them we were thirsty! The mixed drinks were ridiculously expensive. The server who did finally wait on us was very nice and got our orders correct and the food tasted good, but I would never come back solely because it was much too loud and frankly, unhealthy for anyone's ears. Plus, having no windows made the ambience not so great. It was like a big echo chamber. If this is kind of dining that people want these days, count me out. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that offer a quieter, more enjoyable experience.

Very good food and the staff was very professional. Everything here is very expensive though.. especially if you want to play in the arcade as well.

Visited Dave & Buster’s Lansing on Nov 1, 2025. I was pressured to preselect a tip without seeing my bill, and gratuity was improperly applied to $200+ in game cards. Food was cold, service was poor, and overall experience was unacceptable. Management needs to review billing and tipping practices immediately. This place is completely unethical and I will be sure to never return.
