Always has amazing food and it's worth the wait. My boyfriend is diabetic and upon arriving I asked how long the wait was. I told them I hoped it was soon because of his sugar getting low. The owner gave me some crackers for him to snack on and told me to let them know if I needed some orange juice.
Deluca's has the best pizza in Lansing. Everything else on menu is also delicious! I called ahead to order a pizza for take out and upon arrival, the restaurant was so busy it was difficult to find a parking spot. Dine-in was so busy at 6pm on a Monday night that people were waiting outside for tables to open. But trust me when I say the food is so good, it's worth the wait. Used to go here back in the early 2000s. Place is mostly the same. Meatball soup is not as good as it used to be, nor the gnocchi. Spinach manicotti and fettuccine DeLuca are as superb as ever. My gripe though is that I was told it would be 25-30 min for the order to be ready. I showed up at 25 min... "not quite ready". 10 min goes by, told that "the cooks say it will be another 5 minutes", 10 minutes wait "it's being bagged up", another 10 minutes...
