February 7, 2025 best gizzards ever oh so tender today Match 17, 2025 crumbs ordered gizzards got crumbs so disappointed 😢 got about ten decent pieces out of the pound for $15.00 just got crumbles and a lot didn’t take a picture because I was upset and in disbelief and I was bragging to people about about how good they were in February guess it doesn’t pay to brag smh 🤦‍♀️

First experience was pretty good, but would change how I order the house seasoning in the future.

Food was hot, but the only seasoning is what they sprinkle on top. This is not the way I like my fish seasoned, and the coating was not cornmeal. Likely won't return.

Did a Doordash pickup here for two orders at 9pm on a Sunday. Waited over an hour for both. Normally, an order is started before you arrive, but why did it take an hour for 4 menu items?

Asked for my chickens to be softly cook it was hard some of them over cook few them had dark spots on them. And most of them was very tiny they should given more because of the size.

Every time I order from this place I spend 90+ dollars for my family of 5. EVERY DAMN TIME IM DISSAPOINTED! food not cooked all the way, over priced for the small in their eyes (xl)portions! If you're looking for good chicken and chicken only then yes the chicken is worth the price but if you're looking to buy other food items then good luck!
They put a front on for GUY cuz idk how the hell this was one of the best fish fry in lansing area!!!

This visit was my first and LAST one. If I could've given it a zero rating, I absolutely would've. I ordered chicken and chili cheese fries and concluded that Wing Snob, without a doubt, has the BEST boneless and traditional/bone-in chicken wings in Lansing, Michigan, and it's just a short distance from Eastside - located at 3415 E. Saginaw St., Lansing, MI 48912. And for all your fish favorites, you're better off going to Seahouse Fish & Chicken, which is also a short distance from Eastside - located at 2418 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912.

Further, the customer service was subpar. As I stood and waited at the front counter for my order, multiple employees came out from the back and made eye contact with me yet didn't bother to smile or greet me. My order-taker forgot to give me my drink, and I didn't realize it until I returned home, which is 40 minutes away from Eastside. I immediately called and spoke with Dylan - a manager - who said I could return to get my drink. I told him I resided too far to return, so he said he could give me a $3.00 store credit. I told him I wouldn't be returning and therefore wanted a refund - to which he said he couldn't give me. I told him that wasn't fair, so he got Randy, another manager, for me to speak with. Randy told me the same thing and offered to have the general manager, Deno, contact me when he arrived at 5:00 p.m. I asked Randy if Deno was definitely going to contact me, because I didn't want to have to end up calling back, and he assured me Deno would call me soon. This was at 4:55 p.m., and Randy said Deno would be in at 5:00 p.m.

At nearly 9:00 p.m., and in true unprofessional fashion (which I had anticipated), Deno hadn't contacted me, so I called back and asked to speak with Deno and was informed he wasn't there. Instead, I spoke with Antonio, another general manager who repeated what everyone else had told me earlier: I couldn't be refunded. He said I could email the owner, and when I asked for the owner's name, he said he didn't know it, which was outrageous bullshit! Antonio was rude, unprofessional, impatient, unapologetic (he never apologized for Deno not contacting me as promised), and mostly overtalked me. And he also had the audacity to place me on hold while I got pen and paper to write down the owner's email address as if I were inconveniencing him and not the reverse. It couldn't be clearer that Antonio is unfit (in every sense of the word) to be a manager, especially general manager.

In addition, the employees that handle the food don't wear hairnets, and Dylan, who has a long beard, doesn't wear a beard-net or covering. These are basic, common-sense food-safety practices that the owner and management should both be aware of and practicing.

Lastly, it's outrageous that Eastside buys its 5-star Google reviews. Printed at the bottom of its receipts is: "5 STAR REVIEW ON GOOGLE GET FREE SMALL SIDE". This is cunning and speaks VOLUMES about Eastside's business practices and credibility.

YOUR HARD-EARNED DOLLARS ARE BETTER USED ELSEWHERE!

I got the 4 piece mixed chicken dinner with a side of fries and a while pound of chicken livers. The livers had a great taste but we're way too overcooked, the chicken was tender, moist, and crunchy... just didnt have much taste. The fries were the worst part without a doubt. I used to come to this joint in high-school and it tasted way better / was a lot cheaper. It's just not worth it for the pice anymore in my opinion. Disappointed to say the least.

I’m from Memphis where we know good balanced seasoning, I ordered a blue gill dinner. & it was so bland I had to come and make a review plus it was 20 bucks which made me believe it would be great. It was not! Super regular nothing special what so ever. This is my first and last time. The food I received was NOT hot, it wasn’t even lukewarm. I had to put a fresh 20$ plate in the microwave. Sad
