⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Maimai made the BEST Shrimp Pad Thai that I have ever had - and made me feel like I was in Thailand again with her most delicious, authentic home-made Thai food 🙏🏼🇹🇭🙏🏼
The food is delicious. We got the shrimp pad Thai, chicken pad Thai, dumplings, and egg rolls and it was all delicious. The egg rolls are my absolute favorite. Highly recommend.
Tried the Gluten Free Chicken pad Thai for the 1st time today and it was absolutely delicious! Super fresh & flavorful! Will be ordering again soon!
The best Pad Thai I’ve had on the island. Eato Chef is a hidden gem! The owner is super friendly and the food is amazing!
Probably the best pad Thai I have ever had. It’s really great. The owner/chef is super sweet and nice. Service is great. Nice little table setup outside with plants and tables right across from the beach. Thank you so much for the amazing food. We will be back soon
The best pad Thai I’ve ever had. This food truck is a great addition to Fernandina!
Let us know when you decide to move back to Lansing. Definitely heart broken hearing you guys moved. I didn’t hear about it until after you moved, so I missed the last chance I guess. :(
The food was very good and the people are very nice, I recommend getting the Chicken Pas Thai level 2 or 3!!!
Best pad Thai I’ve ever had. Sad they are moving, but happy for the Eato Chef team. 🥰
Best pad thai I've ever had. Love the mango sticky rice.

I have been a regular visitor of Eato Chef for the past few years and their Pad Thai is BY FAR the best in Michigan and well worth any wait. I am heartbroken that they are leaving Michigan, but have no doubt they will be quickly embraced at their new location and Florida.
There was a 45 minute long line. That’s okay and to be expected with great food which smelled amazing as the line inched forward. During this 45 minutes, an employee recorded two videos of us in the line. No problem. We get to the front of the line and order our food. AFTER ordering, we are told there is about an hour and a half timeline to receive the food. There was no communication verbally while in line. There was no sign posted with a general wait time. The time to receive the food wasn’t even stated by the cashier before I ordered. Long wait times and long time to receive food is expected. What isn’t acceptable is the lack of communication and queue process management. It is clear this is a new business and I hope the owner and manager are able to take the business past infancy quickly.
Alright, let’s set the scene. This wasn’t just pad Thai—it was a life-altering experience, the kind of dish that redefines what you thought food could be.
From the moment the box hit the table, I knew this was different. The aroma alone was intoxicating: a perfect balance of nuttiness from the crushed peanuts, citrusy brightness from a squeeze of fresh lime, and that deep, umami-rich scent of fish sauce working it’s-magic. The noodles—oh, the noodles—were cooked to a texture that can only be described as divine: not too soft, not too chewy, just that perfect al dente bite that absorbs every drop of the glossy, caramelized sauce.
Then came the toppings. The plumpest shrimp, kissed by the wok with just the right amount of char. The egg, perfectly scrambled and woven throughout like little pockets of richness. And let’s talk about the crunch—crushed peanuts and fresh bean sprouts adding that perfect contrast, all tied together with a subtle heat that crept up, I get level 2 💁🏻♀️never overpowering, just enough to make each bite linger a little longer.
One bite in, and time slowed. I forgot where I was. I forgot every other pad Thai I had ever eaten. This was the pinnacle. A dish so perfect that it ruined all others for me. Nothing will ever come close.
Would I eat it again? I would travel across the world, walk through fire, and barter with my soul for just one more plate.
Absolutely delicious !!! I’m blown away by the flavors & highly recommend!!! Eato Chef should be featured on a food show, tbh.
Best pad thai I’ve had, careful with your spice choice as even a 2/3 is spicy.
