We came here to celebrate a birthday in the banquet hall, and it was a fantastic choice! The space is beautiful—modern, spacious, and perfect for hosting a larger group.

I ordered the steak bites, and they were absolutely amazing! Although listed under appetizers, the portion was generous enough to serve as a main dish. A friend ordered the fish and chips, which tasted good, though the portion size seemed a bit smaller than expected.

Service-wise, we did have a bit of a wait for drink refills, even after asking, but considering our group was about 20–25 people, it’s understandable that some things may have been delayed.

Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend it for both food and atmosphere—especially for events or special occasions.

Went afterwork with several of my coworkers for social hour. The man that first waited on us was great, very friendly and helpful. Then a hot mess rolled in the door, late, hair a mess and took over. They were ok, but obviously on something. After we all cashed out and went on with our lives we all started chatting about how our credit cards were charged for more than what we signed them for. In my case I left a cash tip but was also charged for an additional $12 tip!! This is fraud, at least 2 other in the party noticed the same thing. Very sad to take advantage of a group. We won't be back.

The night was dark, the hunger was palpable, and the streets led me to Edmunds Pastime like a beacon of hope. And then, I saw her - Ajay, the waitress with a smile that could light up the darkest corners of the soul. She moved with the precision of a ghost, refilling drinks and dispensing warmth with every interaction. And then, the food arrived, a bacon burger that was a symphony of flavors, a culinary masterpiece that left me breathless. In a world that can sometimes seem overwhelming, Edmunds Pastime is a sanctuary, a place where the ordinary becomes extraordinary. Ajay and the kitchen staff are the unsung heroes, weaving a spell of delight that will leave you wanting more.

I really want to love this place, and went 3 separate times before deciding to leave a review—as much as they have improved things from their previous attempt in this location, the service still leaves a lot to be desired. I have yet to dine here without feeling rushed or like an inconvenience. You can walk into a completely empty restaurant and still be force fed your bill before you finish eating or get halfway through your drink, and twice I have come in several hours before their advertised closing only to be told they are closing early—which is understandable depending on the circumstance, however why advertise being “open during construction” if it seems your servers would prefer an empty restaurant? The food is as expected, decent bar food, and the drink specials are great! However, 3 strikes you’re out, and the service has been not only lackluster, but truly disappointing each time we have tried to come out and support. Hoping eventually things work themselves out and you find your groove, there is great potential here!

Perfect spot to wind down when The Avenue starts getting a bit too noisy. Comfy (if a bit warm), yummy well-priced drinks, big TVs, love it!

Ordered an Oberon and 2 Local’s Lights. Got the bill and it was $35?! Guess it’s my fault for not looking at the menu and realizing I was paying $14 for my Oberon, but…. Whew. I was wondering why it was so dead, but now I understand. 🥴😅
Editing my review in response to the response: I got 6 beers and a meal and spent less down the street than I did for my 3 “local” drafts I ordered here.
We are public schoolteachers who can’t afford to spend $14 on one Oberon when a 12 pack at the store is $17. I really want to support local, but have been priced out of this location, unfortunately. I wish them the best, but have bills to pay.

The restaurant serves bar food. But not good bar food. I had cheese sticks and chicken strips. I have had better food at a movie theater. The cheese sticks tasted like cheap freezer burned frozen sticks. They weren't even served hot. So they were not melty. As for the strips the ones at NCG are better. Its was a waste of $16

PROS: staff was friendly, food was fast, food was tasty CONS: small serving sizes, overpriced due to the amount of food you get.... (.25c) to add a Tomato to a burger???? And the waitress never mentioned it was an extra cost. i can understand mayo and cheese but i've never see that. And the chips that come with the burgers are a bag of Lays...not fried in the restaurant. Slaw is $2 for a very small (ketchup/dip size solo cup). I wont be back. I appreciate the friendly staff and fast service but i can get food portions that make sense for that price elsewhere.

I loved it. I only had their house red and sweet potato fries with maple aioli, but the staff was was great and I really liked the food. Nice place to unwind after work, not raucous and noisy.

I stopped in for lunch. I got the TKO burger and fries. The burger was very good although the bun was nothing special. Fries were great. Worth the up charge. A little pricey, but it’s downtown. Nice atmosphere and good music. Staff was very friendly and provided good service. I will go back.
