Firehouse Subs Downtown Lansing

Ordered at 12:30 on my lunch break to be picked up at 12:50. The little fruit behind the counter told me come back in 5-10 mins. I did. When I came back he told me “uh there’s still 4 orders ahead of yours” so I went back to work. Can’t get my money back since it was an online order. Never coming here again. Zero stars if I could

This place is filthy. The glass, window sills, floors, trim, counters, trash bins, bathrooms and pop machine are all very dirty. Everything needs to be deep cleaned. I showed up shortly after they opened, they weren't very busy and were fully staffed so there was no excuse for it to be this dirty. Very disappointing because the subs are pretty decent. Clean this place up and I'll come back.

This location has gotten so horrible I will never go back. My fiancé and I went in and ordered 3 subs and none of them were right. One was supposed to be turkey bacon ranch and it had mayo and mustard on it and no banana peppers on the side as ordered. One was supposed to be a large build your own with ham, cheddar cheese, light mayo and light lettuce. There was onion, tomato, deli mustard on it. The third was a medium club on a sub and there was just ham and cheese and lettuce on it. So basically people can't read what goes on what even though the receipt was right. Furthermore, the store is disgusting and looks like NOBODY spends any time cleaning anything. Very disappointing. As I said, I will never be back to this location.

Terrible experience. It's continuing to get worse. Poor management, poor service, poorly trained staff. The entire restaurant needs to be deep cleaned. This establishment is going down hill. $40 for 3 subs and the orders are made incorrectly. I will never eat here again. This has been an ongoing issue. I like firehouse subs but the last ten times I have chosen to eat here I am extremely disappointed!

Amazing subs. Terrible customer service. Never try to call or email about an issue, you will be met with the genetic sorry, not sorry. They didn't really care. But good food. The actual staff in the store is awesome. I just won't return bc I had an issue and was treated like a zero.

Food was good the place was dirty The floors and tables really dirty uncalled for during the slow time three people just standing around talking

I hate writing poor reviews....but... unfortunately this location has gone downhill fast. I waited writing a review, but nothing has changed in the last 8-12 months. I use to go here regularly 5/6 years ago and it was top notch. Now you walk in and are greeted by glass doors covered in scum, and floor mats caked in debris, neither of which have been cleaned in months. These pics are from Monday late morning, so I was one of the 1st customers, so I cant blame the mess on the "morning rush". The manager is a super nice guy, and can only work with what he is given I suppose. He always greets you with an attempted smile. Had to fire someone on the spot yesterday while I was there as it is understandably tough to hire/maintain good employees. So Ill give an extra star for him trying his best. But the food as well, has gone downhill. Nothing seems as fresh as it once was, shrinkflation has reached their sandwiches, and quality overall has diminished. And if you do choose to eat there, the eating area is horrible. Again, the floors/tables have not been cleaned in weeks, probably months. And I don't recommended the restrooms.... The walls have holes in them from where they removed the TV"s a few years ago. And if you choose to grab a soda, I recommend closing your eyes before reaching into the Coke machine.... I would hope corporate realizes that there is potential in "fast food" in Downtown Lansing and puts some extra money into getting things back in order, otherwise this place will be gone before we know it.

This place is so dirty. The doors when you walk in look like they haven't been cleaned in months. The floors are unclean and even the staff look dirty and I feel bad saying that but the while place is just really really dirty. If I owned a restaurant I would be disgusted to see my place like this. Seems to me like there isn't anyone who cares about the reputation around here.

First time eating a firehouse sub. Also the last time. Worst sub in my 47 years of life. Dirty location also.
