2nd trip to Lansing for Crack Chicken, okra and fry’s. Both times the food has been fantastic and we drive 30 minutes before eating! The staff are friendly and efficient. We waited 20 minutes, but it’s so worth the wait.

I bought ocean perch, to fry at the store, the result was disastrous, over fried, to the point that it was burnt, bitter and tasted like very old and used oil. This is the second time this has happened to me. It's a shame, when the previous owners were there, everything was very different. The quality has dropped a lot, I have several friends with the same opinion.

We eaten here at least once every few months. We always order the 6 piece chicken breast strips. Tonight they were DRY and way over cooked. I feel like they were reheated in the fryer and sold to us. This the second time this has happened...I don't think we will be back.
