Went there twice in the last few months. Sad what it has become. Food was good the first visit, second visit the food was not to my liking. The main concern is the quality of service. Service is so poor; perhaps the worst I've ever experienced. However, I do like the staff. Business model seems unsustainable. 90mins till you receive food BOTH times I went. They can't make money if they don't provide a service. I would be willing to give it another shot if I've heard consistent improvements; however, everything I've heard is it is consistently poor.

My husband and I used to LOVE this place. We moved out of state for over 5 years and finally moved back yesterday. This was our first hit spot for breakfast and what a total letdown. Food tastes horrible, and the wait was absolutely long. In the past, sure wait 40 mins and sometimes upwards of an hour after ordering but at least the food was banging. However, it took 1 hour and 45 minutes after ordering to get our food and wasn't even good. Waitress was nice but would have been great to be acknowledged the wait time. Sadly, never returning. Miss the old crew.

Walked in on a Friday afternoon with 4 tables seated, 3 of which already having ordered. After ordering, and over an hour of waiting, our food was not even started. They said it would take another hour before we were even served! This service is TERRIBLE. From working in the food industry, I cannot fathom why it takes so long to serve so little amount of people. Only eat here if you have 3 hours to spare.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The service is awful, the food is not good anymore, but the lack of professionalism really does it for me. I don't know what happened - maybe they sold to Mr. Taco? - but what used to be a staple of Lansing has not only gone downhill but reached the bottom of the hill and picked up a shovel. I wish I had read all the other recent reviews about how poorly this restaurant treats customers because I would not have made the mistake of eating here again. They also banned me from their Facebook page after commenting about my experience, which was a nice touch. Unnecessary because I never need to know their random hours of operation ever again, but a nice touch.

WOW!! These ladies can cook!! The freshness of the food, everything is cut, prepped to order. The feels from the moment you step inside the door is oh yeah I'm about to enjoy whatever I have. We will definitely return. Cash Venmo only

This has to be the most overrated place I've ever been. After waiting 45 minutes to get a table, we were seated with a random couple. They ended up being really nice and were one of the only good parts of our experience. It took the waiter another 20 minutes to take our order and then we waited for an hour and a half to finally get our food. We saw another group arrive after us, get their food, eat and leave before we even got one of our entrees. After about 50 minutes of waiting for our food, we were understandably frustrated so we asked our server if our food would be ready soon. He huffed and said "we're busy today. It'll be ready when it's ready" and walked away. He only filled our water once. At the end of all of it, the food was only okay. The potatoes were pretty good but it didn't make up for the horrible experience. Oh and by the way, what's up with all the random crap plastered to the outside of the building? Freakin' hipsters.

Highly recommend! I’ve been wanting to come here forever and I’m glad we finally did. We came on a Thursday morning - there was no wait! We sat at the bar and had the best breakfast!! My husband got a breakfast sandwich & I got a polish sausage scrabble. The food portion was SO big!! I barely made a dent. Lots of leftover. Our server was very helpful as we were being indecisive on what to get. We got to talk with the cook and they were super friendly as well. Now for the toast - I’m not normally a toast person but that was the BEST sour dough I have ever had in my life!!!! Can’t wait to go back for the potatoes and bread alone ?#carbsCan’t recommend enough great staff & food! It was cash or Venmo only!

I'd like to talk about the food but after waiting for over an hour and still having many tickets ahead of mine before even being prepared I had to walk out with just having a mediocre cup of coffee. Save yourself the agony of the wait time and pick literally anywhere else to eat.

I honestly was not sure if they were open just because I have not checked. I’m glad we stopped by, best 30th birthday breakfast my husband could ask for! I love the portions and laidback vibe you guys provide. ♥️ food was delicious! I did have substitutions due to ingredients being out but the chef made up for it with literally adding so much more. The captain crunch French toast was amazing, the crunchiness was what I was missing in my life.

I have to say I used to LOVE going to the Golder Harvest. When I go I travel an hour and 15 minutes each way to enjoy the best breakfast I've ever had. Well I am not sure what the heck is going on there but yesterday I went for my Birthday (because as I said best breakfast anywhere). What a real letdown! All the guys that used to work there and rock that grill like it was on fire were gone and replaced with a set of women who move slower then slugs. The girl on the grill looked like she was a zombie moving 1 slip at a time and her spatulas moved like they were made of huge chunks of lead. Worse she had a grill make who looked absolutely clueless (albeit her bear hat was adorable). They spent way more time walking around each other then actually cooking. I waited outside the door (which is normal and used to be worth it) for an hour and we were the only ones in line. Then got inside and the living zombie waitress took 20 minutes to decide asking/bringing us drinks might be a good idea. She took our order and at the 3 hour mark we received our food and we immediately asked for boxes so we could leave. When we left there were 2 groups waiting for seats. To bring into perspective this situation when it used to be a different staff there were be a waiting line a block long. It took an hour to get a seat but when you got in you got coffee/drinks right away and you waited maybe 15 minutes for your food. They were not playing around they wanted the profits and the food was to die for. Now you spend an hour outside cause it is going to take 2 hours inside. The food was ok but I could have gone to IHOP and been as happy. All in all what I am saying is go to Denny's or IHOP your going to get better service and the same quality food for less money. On another note and more interestingly there is a box with Narcan outside the door. WTH is that doing out there?

Great food but after sitting down it was apparent would be awhile. Sat down at 910 and ordered at 935. Got food 1040. Don't understand why things move so slowly. 9 people served in 100 minutes? Also quite cold inside. Unique only goes far ...

Arrived a little after 9am on a Saturday and waited 45 minutes to be seated (completely expected). Were greated quickly, ordered about 10 minutes after we sat ~10am. Good was delivered at 12:05. It looked and smelled delicious, but we asked for boxes, paid, and hefty. Will eat it later.
