I got takeout. One taco rice and beans. My usual “test plate” at any new restaurant I try. Well good news is THAT PLATE WAS FIRE! So happy to have a new spot for tacos. Excited to try the rest of the menu. The strawberry tres leches was amazing too!

The mid michigan community is fortunate to have several choices for excellent, authentic, family owned taquerias and food trucks. Some old time favorites unfortunately are no longer around, especially Torres Taco House on Grand River on the North Side..And my all time favorite, Alvarado's, on Logan St. (MLK), on the South side.
