This place changes locations, is what I'm told. Now it's inside a room and shared with another restaurant.
The service was so nice, but slow.
It was more like a pick-up place.
And the menu was difficult to order from. I wish it had the ingredients listed in the dishes.
It's a-la-cart as well.
Lo mein is so Delicious!
Definitely my go to spot for this dish!
The soy based chicken is excellent. Both the Sweet and Sour soy chicken and the General Tso’s soy chicken are delicious.
First time guest and have lived down the street for about 8 months, food was amazing and recommend this spot!
The food was absolutely terrible. I ordered General Tao’s chicken and it was some chicken pieces heavily drained in some orange gong and no taste whatsoever! Asked for medium spice but they didn’t even bother to put the spice in, that would have at least give some flavor to the dish . The rest of the food wasn’t better either. Not cheap, it was a great waste of $60+ for three dishes and egg-rolls .
Looking for a bit of perspective in you dinning? If so, this might be the place for you. All of the soups are simply delicious. Our favorite is the EGG DROP SOUP! The texture is smooth and velvety and tastes like how a warm cozy blanket feels against your skin on a cold & snowy night😌. The tomato, egg & noodle dish is SO SATISFYING 🤤. It is a layered dish ( green onion, chopped tomatoes, folded egg) that appears to have a beautiful & flavorful sauce that covers a bountiful helping of wide noodles.Wait, did I mention that it comes in a reusable bowl that is simply a work of art? If you haven't tried this place yet, try it! We found that the online menu is limited, but there is a kiosk located in the lobby that seems to have a pretty extensive selection & preferred options. I recommend visiting Mon-Fri. We look forward to visiting again soon.
Very friendly staff and delicious food
Tomato egg and meatless mapo tofu were spectacular im going to get this whenever I get to lansing
Hong Kong Restaurant serves delicious and authentic Chinese food. And, they have many vegan options. I had the best Mapo Tofu I’ve had in years. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food, this is your place!
Vegetarian options: They will make the dishes vegan if asked and have lots of tofu options. Great place for a vegan!

I never thought about eating a plate full of green beans... until I went to Hong Kong Restaurant at the Allen Neighborhood Center. Now, I frequently crave their green beans with pork.
Another great perk of the place: reusable, microwavable takeout containers. Super convenient!

They tore down the original site, and moved into a building which is shared with 2 other food companies. Ambiance is not so great.

Ordered beef lo mein and first they used the wrong noodles. I looked at photos of their food and saw the they use the correct noodles, the rounder ones, only to receive my order and they are skinny flat noodles like for pad Thai or linguine! Second, the lo mein was dry, there was barely and veggies or beef in it, and best of all, A HAIR buried underneath some noodles that I pulled out. All this for $14?

My wife and I love getting takeout from here on the weekends! We've tried a lot of things from all over the menu and have enjoyed them all. We feel lucky to have such a delicious restaurant right here in our neighborhood!
