we love shopping at Horrocks for most things. Last time we're in though was now so good. we bought some caramel from the candy bins and it was hard as a rock and the wrappers were melted in the candy. we were already home before noticing this. Will not buy candy from them for a while. Hopefully they get better stuff b in.

I really used to love the pizza and the option for slices. I would say the last 6 months have been really substandard. I have to put the already cooked pizza in the oven to cook more because the crust is barely cooked. A slice of pizza shouldn't be completely soggy and sad. Needs at least a crunch to it to form the slice. Need to work on the cook times for sure. I really hope they can be more consistent with better cook for the crust.

I want to share my recent experience at Horrocks today. I love this place and pizza, but I had to rate my experience a four due to the poor customer service I received from the girl at the register on 09/27/24. The bad customer service started with my phone call to place the order. The way she spoke to me was unprofessional and rude. When I went to pick up my order, I observed her speaking the same way to other customers in front of me. When it was my turn, I handed her a single piece of pizza and told her there was an order under my name. After I paid, she realized she hadn't heard about the whole pizza order and responded to me in a rude and unacceptable manner. I had to tell her that she needed to work on her customer service skills. This was a very frustrating experience at my favorite place to shop. I hope someone will address this issue and teach this young person that people have options, and it's her service that will determine if they come back.
