I shared this review a few days ago and the director of operations commented on my review and asked me to email him, but I have not received a response yet. I left a two-star review for several reasons. First of all, I have now been to this houlihan's location three times in the past month, and each experience was progressively worse. all three times there was a significant delay in both being seated and being served. they're so understaffed that the managerial staff has to take turns cooking food. Also, their wait staff are all very new and none of them seem to know anything about the menu at all. They also don't know what distinctions like gluten free even mean. All three times I've been there in the last month, my food arrived cold, and two of the times I did not get everything I ordered and had to wait for them to remake things. The last time I was there I was actually told by my waitress that a side I ordered did not come with my meal, although the menu clearly states that it did. Houlihan's is almost a national treasure. We all know it and we have all been there many times for many years. But like many American institutions, it seems to be crumbling. If in fact the director of operations genuinely wants to have a conversation with me, I would welcome that opportunity greatly. He now has received two emails from me plus this response.

Went for Happy Hour. It was packed, the waitress was nice and attentive. Drinks were super strong.... I would definitely return.

Rude service from waitress named Jayde. My kids asked about the “kids meal ice cream†on the menu as we were about to pay our bill. She replied “yeah if they want it†with an attitude. Service was super slow , so we asked for it to go, because we didn't know about it until the last minute & she didn't offer it. So then she brought out the ice cream in cups with no to go spoons. My son asked for a spoon and she walked away without responding. We thought maybe she didn't hear and then came back with some dirty silverware. My daughter was eating it with her finger. I go here often, but if you're rude to kids that's doing too much. And I still tipped her 18%, but the rudeness is just unnecessary. If I come back and get her again, I will definitely have to leave and go somewhere else. If you don't like serving people than don't be a server.

Terrible. Food was bad, service was bad and prices are ridiculous for what we got. 5 burnt pieces of popcorn chicken for $5.99.not even sure what the one sauce is.

Riana and Becky were awesome on our first visit to Houlihan's and had great customer service. The wings and Spiked Cherry Limeade had great flavors. We will definitely be back.

Where do I start... We went to get happy hour because they seemed to have some good specials. We ended up sitting in the dining area; when we looked for the specials it stated the specials were only offered on the bar side. So then we ordered our appetizer and our food all at once. I can guarantee we waited at least 20 minutes just to get the appetizer. The appetizer was barely warm which was very disappointing especially for how long we waited. At this point I started to watch the time. Finally 15 minutes went by and still no entrees. We called our waitress over to just get our check for our drinks and appetizer and to stop the food. She went back and stalled for a few minutes and finally came out with our food. It was clear that we were not the only ones frustrated, but she was as well. As I looked around the room we were clearly not the only unhappy customers. The kitchen was clearly backed up and yet we never once saw a manager trying to rectify the situation with their customers. Now for as long as we waited for our food I expected a lot more than what we received. The food was mediocre at best. Like the appetizer, my fish was barely warm and the coleslaw... I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole. There were brown pieces of lettuce it was not bright and colorful, it was soggy, and it looked like it had just been sitting around all day. Unfortunately, this was my first time at this restaurant and will now be my last.

Service was horrible, food even worse! Walked in and was clearly not busy. Stood up front for around five minutes before being noticed and seated by a server. Wanted to sit in dining area but deals and happy hr is only at the bar area so they can use you as advertisement for everybody in the mall to see. Almost everything on the very small menu contained onions so ordered the few things without onions. Sure enough everything I ordered had onions even though it was not mentioned in the menu. Food took forever to come out. They were kind enough to fix the issue and bring a different meal. No onions this time but the driest burger I've had in a while. Very overpriced too. Will NOT be going back.

Wait staff are always friendly, great deals at happy hour. Be sure to try the Thai Chile Chicken Wings.

Still have the best French Onion soup around. Only issue is that I needed a snowmobile suit because the air was so cold. P.S. it was only about 66 degrees outside.
Didn't like the food,but loved their happy hour menu. They have the best margaritas and plenty of options. The vibe would be better with some music.

Food was fantastic but our service was quite sub par. I'd like to think our server was just having an off day. Food wise the stuffed mushrooms, Jambalaya, and chocolate cake I had was delicious and pretty fairly priced.

This was my first trip there. Food was good, but could be better. especially for the price. The young lady we had as a server was awesome till the food was served, then did not see her till I asked another waiter for bill. My part of the parties food came well after the rest.

I used to love houlihans, and the food still isn't bad, but the past couple times I've been here the service has been lacking and finally today it was to the point where I'm writing this. I came here to meet a friend for a couple beers and decided I would have something to eat. I ordered the Kansas City strip. While i was waiting for my food i started noticing fruit flies. Not one, but probably a dozen or so. And they were relentless. I mentioned it to the bartender and she was less than interested. She said it was because of the raspberry beer. Whatever it was I feel like this is an issue that should have been taken care of before it became an issue. Not sure if I'll come back. It's too bad.
