They always need more lanes open than what they have. as well...I know better than to go there for "fresh" produce. Some items better than others...but not a lot.

The store always look so nice and clean to me. I always seem to need help in the meat department and when you ask someone there they go out of their way to help you. I also love Drew at the gas station up there. He was so thoughtful and helpful and very nice and I always say it’s so nice to see you again and he says the same thing back. I think he’s just great.

Living outside Grand Ledge it was always easier to go to Meijer. Well NOT ANYMORE! Kroger's meat is out of this world. Such a wide range of fresh vegetables and fruit that are FRESH! I cannot speak highly enough about the customer service! Brenda was my cashier and Rob helped both were outstanding. I need my groceries bagged not very heavy and Rob did a perfect job, he even put them in my cart and asked if I needed help unloading them in my car. I have had Meijer cashiers stomp their feet when I said they are too heavy! AND they do not put them in your cart nor give service to your car! Brenda was great and made sure my Kroger card worked for my discounts and rewards! QUALITY, AVAILABILITY, SERVICE this store runs circles around Meijer!!

No such thing as a quick in and out. They utilize the bank of 6 self Checkouts. The other dozen lanes are closed. 45 minutes to check out. walmart is .3 miles down the road.

Went to kroger on saginaw today because it is the nicer location by me. Had a great shopping experience until check out. I have been using egift cards that my family sends me for groceries. They have always scanned the barcode on my phone to redeem the gift card. Today, after checking out all of my items, I was told by someone from the customer service desk that it is "policy" that they do not scan anyones phone and the barcode must be printed off. I was confused and explaine
