The girl that was working this morning at 5:30am was extremely rude to my family. We had three seperate experiences. First, my little sister simply said, "Excuse me" to ask her a question, and she looked like my sister was wasting her time and said, "What" and just continued to be rude. Then my dad went and purchased something, and she was very short and acted like he was wasting her time as well. She wasn't helping other costumers either time... The receipt he received says her name is Jessica. Then, I went up to her to ask if they have a price list, and she looked at me with an annoyed face, and asked, "Of what" and I responded, "the things in the store and the food, or just in general?" And she very shortly cut me off and said no. I asked how I was supposed to know any prices and she shorty (and her tone was as if I was very stupid) said that she will scan it. Also, she was on her phone each time.These were 3 different visits in one morning, and none of us even knew the other had a bad experience until we all were sitting down. We went in seperately. This is rediculous!

Staff was awesome. Food was exactly what we wanted. We got a simple burger, chicken tenders, fries, BLT. Enjoyed everything and really appreciated how great the crew was. I think there were 3 ppl running the whole place. A great team.

As I write this I am seated at a table in the Capital Brewport restaurant. The atmosphere is contemporary and spacious, with adequate space between the tables. The gentleman waiting on me and the gentleman at the grill making my meal are so welcoming and polite. I ordered the turkey club minus the ham and bacon. They asked if I would like extra turkey given that I did not want the other meats - how thoughtful!I just received my sandwich. It has been grilled to perfection and is delicious. I highly recommend when flying into or out of Capital Airport in Lansing, Mi to stop by Capital Brewport, grab some great food, enjoy the full service bar, as well as a warm and friendly welcome!

A quiet spot to eat or drink in a quiet airport. The turkey BLT with that buttery sourdough bread is ridiculously good. I want to go pass through security just to get one more before I leave Michigan for the summer for good.

Shame on the management in this place. No assistance for the front staff, no organization, no food-they ran out at 1:00 in the afternoon. Total and utter chaos. As the ONLY food option in the entire Lansing airport this is not good.

Was pleasantly surprised this cafe was open at 5:30AM on a Sunday to serve up coffee and a breakfast for my early flight! For the future, I’m also grateful they mentioned they have alternative milk options for their coffees. They had soy milk on Sunday, but said they usually also carry oat milk and almond milk. Great selection for anyone who’s dairy-sensitive or allergic.

Nice place to wait for flight. Craft beer and variety of coffee is offered. Smoothies, sandwiches, plenty to help a hungry person. Nice window views in dining area.
As of January 2022, just getting back "off the ground", so to speak. Had some plague setbacks, but now reopened to serve flyers. Glad to have this since LAN is otherwise quite dry (no other restaurants, no lounges, etc). Fantastic change!

Flight got delayed a bunch (can't do much about it lol) and we ended up stopping by a few times. Lemon pound cake was super good, lavender white chocolate latte was amazing, and lunch was delicious. Staff also recognized us and were extremely friendly. Definitely recommend!

No public ground transportation service available when I came through in September 2021 for a MSU game. At least update the website so people will know they need someone to pick them up.

Have flown from this airport before with nothing bad, today was the opposite. Brought a friend who is severely diabetic and disabled to the airport. It’s a smaller one, so 30 min prior figured would be ok. No one is at any of the ticket counters. Ask TSA about it and he states too bad you have to be here 30 min prior to flight, we were… go sit back down and just wait. Go back and ask TSA Ross if he’s able to call a manager or someone and he gets an attitude and says nope nothing I can do or call you have to wait. You can’t radio/ call anyone? Nope. There is a way to talk to people, you can say no kindly. TSA Ross was clearly having a bad day. We won’t recommend or Fly from this airport again ??♀️

I am so happy my home airport finally got a larger more functional bar and eatery. I do miss the top flight sanctuary but having the brewport makes it all better. I fly out of Lansing every Monday and return every Friday with a few exceptions. The staff here is some of the best I have the pleasure to encounter all over the globe. Lydia is just a precious doll and a sight for sore eyes to travelers like myself. The laughs, smiling faces, fabulous hospitality is why I will always return to enjoy here at the brewport! I would also really like to recognize Zack! Wonderful young man and his dedication to hospitality is priceless in our youth today. I witnessed him take it upon himself to help and elderly lady with not only her wheel chair but carrying her food and even pushed her back to her gate with food in hand and ready to fly. The management staff is doing a great job with these 2 perfectionist of hospitality. I have been coming here a long time and the remodel with the management, Mrs Lydia , and Zack is destined for success. If they ever leave it's pretty much down hill from there and count me out to visit. The food is wonderful but the staff is what brings me back every time.
