I have never experienced worse treatment at any restaurant in my life. This experience was especially devastating given my long and meaningful history with Leo’s, I became engaged to my wife at Leo’s Outpost and have celebrated countless milestones with family and friends at various Leo’s locations over the years. What was supposed to be a joyful birthday celebration at this location turned into a humiliating and frustrating ordeal. Our group was treated with open hostility and disrespect. At one point, wait staff were overheard making inappropriate comments about our party, including saying “f this group.” The bill was literally thrown at my aunt rather than handed to her with any basic courtesy. Several of our guests, some over 70+ years old were turned away entirely, despite our reservation being made a full month in advance. Those who were seated were intentionally scattered throughout the restaurant, making it impossible to celebrate together. To make matters worse, multiple members of our party waited over an hour for drinks, even after repeatedly reminding staff. When the owner was made aware of these issues, there was no apology, no effort to accommodate us, and no concern shown whatsoever. The complete lack of accountability or empathy was shocking. Given how poorly we were treated despite our advance reservation and long-standing loyalty to the brand, I cannot recommend this location to anyone. This experience permanently changed how I view Leo’s, and unfortunately, not for the better.

Food was great and lots of it. Server did great for the shear number of people he was taking care of (we had 30). Really enjoyed checking out the taxidermy.

I got the bison half pound burger. I got mine medium rare with a slice pepper jack cheese. First time having this meat and it was not a disappointment. It was so good so juicy much better then beef. The waiters where amazing kept up with drinks and made sure my wife and I where treated like kings and queens. A great place to eat with lots of things to look at on the walls.

Leo's is a Lansing area staple. Try the cheese bread! It's amazing. Everytime we go, it reminds me of my days at MSU.

Very disappointed. Their own website (not a google info site) states the kitchen closes at 11:00 on Fridays. Several of us came over with 17 min to spare and were turned away. If you do not want to serve people food, I highly suggest CHANGING your website. It is the last time I will meet with friends at Leo’s.
