Recently in Lansing for work trip; was quite disappointed as this place looked pretty amazing to visit since it's my first time to Lansing. Unfortunately they have decided to close their tap room. So just putting it out there in case anybody else is visiting they don't waste their time visiting this location again truly unfortunate.

Michigrain Distillery is a wonderful event venue; Jade really made it happen! We had our wedding reception here the first weekend in August '24, and everything was fantastic. A great little spot with local liquor. We were pretty comfortable with around 55 guests; I'd say it would be unwise to try to bring in more than 75 without additional seating. Bring your own PA if you need one.

Planned to come here with friends on a Saturday evening to enjoy some cocktails, online says open 12-12 it was 6:30pm and the door was locked, no sign or anything. This is the second time we've tried to come on a weekend evening and this has happened.Edit to response:Just down for the week? Forever? How long are you closed. Why isn't it announced on your website?

Jade, our bartender was amazing! She recommended several beverages that were great. We enjoyed the pineapple lavender vodka, the jalapeño habanero vodka, the chocolate caramel vodka, the whiskey… Basically, we enjoyed it all. Side note, some of the reviews say they have food, but we did not have that opportunity. Sidenote #2… You cannot buy their flavored vodkas because they are house infused. You can buy their potato or corn vodka and then infuse them yourself. However, they were darn good the way they made them.

My daughter was emailing back and forth about the renting out of the event space going back a couple weeks. The subject line was graduation party. Last weekend we visited in person to check it out and pay. We were told to contact the owner or manager to pay. We were told the date was now reserved, so invitations were sent out. Suddenly there is a rule of 18+ and the revelation that a graduation party might have people that are under 18. The other venue we were looking at no longer has the date available.

Awesome drinks, cool chill vibe, fun games to play, and great service. I had a pineapple lavender drink with vodka soaked pineapples and a drink called the heat wave. I love spicy so the heat wave was delicious- fruity and spicy and sour!

We loved the pineapple lavender infused vodka! We bought the vodka and we’ll infuse with lavender and pineapple later. Personally, we weren’t a fan of the spirits but the waitress was exceptional!
