The whole experience was wonderful if you're looking for a little nicer option for dining out, but still want to be semi-casual. I ordered the steamed crab legs, which the presentation was excellent however the shells were a little rubbery and hard to crack. It would have been helpful to have a small fork or something to split the legs, rather than crack them. My husband had the Mitchell's Market Trio and liked everything except the crab cake. We come to the conclusion that we just don't like crab cakes, so that was nothing on the restaurant's part. Overall tho, we were happy with the ambiance, and the services was EXCELLENT! We will be back.

Was served $120.00 King Crab dinner still frozen! Waiter was even offended and sent it back. New King Crab was brought out and it was empty shells! I spent a large sum of money entertaining my family at this Waffle House of Seafood food trucks. Highly recommend NOT getting sick like me trying to eat here.

Party of eleven, celebrating Christmas dinner - everything was excellent. Server Rebecca was very good and very attentive. Appetizers were outstanding, and everyone commented on how good everything was. Mitchell's seldom disappoints - I believe it's consistently the best restaurant in the Lansing area.

We went for Christmas dinner later than in the past at 1:00 and it was busier. The wait staff handled it all well. The food was great and plentiful so we had some to take home for supper.

The Thanksgiving turkey entree was excellent. The salad not so good; the lettuce was quite old and much of it could not be eaten. service was excellent including the manager visiting our table.
We went here for the seafood and we weren't disappointed in our crab legs. We ordered both the King crab legs, snow crab legs and the lobster ravioli. I had lobster bisque and my husband clam chowder. All the food was very good with the exception of the sides. The asparagus was awful and the potatoes were mediocre. Our service was excellent and we appreciated the attentiveness despite being super busy on a Thanksgiving day. Our waitress accidentally put in an order for 2# crab legs and 1# king crab legs. It was supposed to be one and one. We were not charged for the extra pound. We will definitely come back when we are in town again. Good experience.

Had the Thanksgiving special. Excellent all around. Our waitress, Angie, was very cheerful and friendly even when working the holiday. There was no wait for the table even though it was quite busy. Very organized. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Have always had a good meal and service when eating at Mitchell's.

They even printed her name on the menu 👏🏽 The food was amazing, starting with bacon wrapped shrimp to delicious lobster bisque to Crab and Shrimp entree and the extraordinary desserts ! The cocktails were well made 👌🏾 The service provided by Gabe is outstanding and the whole experience is lovely !
