Have been to this location two different days, different times of day during posted hours. It has been locked both times. There's a sign that says if locked call Mike at this phone number, the person who answers does not work at the restaurant. Same FedEx slip at the door.I am very interested in trying the food, but they should close the restaurant if there is nobody working there for over a week.I am willing to give it another chance if know when the restaurant is open.

I would rate it 100 stars!! The corned beef is heaven between 2 slices of bread, 3 if you dare to try the large, the mini filled me all the way up, where's the beef? In these sandwiches and subs!! Clean restaurant,friendly employees, absolutely the best corned beef in the Lansing area!!!!

Sandwiches are a little pricey. The lady that took our order was extremely rude. Almost made me want to say never mind and get food somewhere else. Wish i would have done that now because I am currently dealing with food poisoning from this place. Will not be back.

Disappointing, I was excited to try their sandwiches after reading previous reviews. They don't even toast their Corned Beef bread, so it all felt like musch, and add insult to injury sauerkraut was extra.

Quality is first rate. Pastrami, smoked turkey and corned beef sandwiches made to order. Best I have had since I left the east coast. Good food is not cheap and cheap food is rarely good. That said, lunch will run you 15 to 20 bucks on average. Canned soda, but its a deli. Fries are a little, meh. Go with the chips. They have wings now, but I have yet to try them. This is my go-to lunch. If you want cheap or 3 minutes, hit a drive-thru. If you want a meal you will want again, this is your place.

Pastrami sandwich was awesome but the Banana Pudding was old and bananas were black. That should never have been served and was disappointing. Great Pastrami sandwich though! Take our needs to be better and standards need to be higher!

It was a huge disappointment. I visited on Friday May 27th in late afternoon. There were 3 orders ahead of ours. The woman who took our order was friendly and efficient so this rating has nothing to do with her - she should get 5 stars. So after we placed our order - mine was a large Rueben (rye, corned beef, Swiss, sauerkraut and Russian dressing at $14) we sat and waited. And waited. The cook walked outside and came back 10 minutes later and told the woman to stay off his line. And we waited some more. When we finally got our order we took it home.At first it looked good like it was grilled. But it wasn't. It was dry toast. The meat looked like scraps - tiny pieces of meat all piled up. Some of the meat was room temperature and some was fridge cold. There was very little sauerkraut (I'm talking 3 or 4 strands), unmelted fake "swiss" and no dressing. And the dry toast was not even rye, it was white.I'm seriously wondering if the cook is ok.I have to say that was the worst Rueben I've ever had. Most of it got thrown away.It's too bad because I prefer to support our local businesses rather than going to the big chains, but that cook needs to get it together.Maybe it was a fluke and it was just a bad day? I don't know. I won't try it again.

The owner of Mr Corned Beef is incredibly friendly. What a great experience along with delicious fresh food. We will definitely be back ....if you've not tried it yet, please do. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Really good food, fast service, and nice staff. The sandwich came out hot and very delicious. I got a “jr” sized sandwich, which was about the size of a hamburger, so I can imagine the regular size is a pretty big portion. The menu has a lot of offerings and I’m excited to try some other sandwiches here

Me and my Granda went here for a bite to eat and it was absolutely delicious!! The workers were genuine and gave us such a warm greeting! The food was top notch! We would recommend this place to everyone, you won't regret it!!
