The owner of Mr. Taco doesn't have a clue as to what he's doing and neither does the public. You never know when he's open like everybody says unless you join a Facebook group, which I'm not gonna do. The food is decent when he's open, but it gets so frustrating, trying to figure out times of operation. I wish you would just close the restaurant down and be done with it. Or sell it to somebody that can actually run a restaurant and know what they're doing. So with that close the restaurant down and go back to where you came from.Thank you

Never open, always running out of food. Have to join a private Facebook group to figure out what 4 hours a week its open. Totally not worth the cult like following. It's really poorly made "Mexican" food by a white dude that doesn't have the ability to run a business. With it only being open 10 hours a month nothing can be fresh pretty horrible.Famous taco or El Oasis is with it. Hell taco bell is better and has actual business hours.

Keep wanting to try it but there's no way to know they're open unless you're in a private Facebook group. The hours 9-4 is not every Friday, just random Fridays when the owner is bored I guess?

Great food! Usually long lines but worth the wait.Only open on Fridays. Drive thru only.

Love. Just love. Just like the good 'ol days. The only problem is the prices are double what they used to be back in the 90's before they closed. Inflation & costs, I suppose. Their hours are tricky and often posted to FB for the day of business or a couple of days before. If you can overlook that, it's the same recipes and comfort food as the days of old.

Amazing customer service! Wish I could say the same about the food. Maybe it's something nostalgic for many?

Delicious evey time! Just like I remember. Thank you for being open through and during hard times. We appreciate you.

Rude, unprofessional, overpriced. No reason to go here. Mr. Tacos legacy ended when Bill took over.

Wasn't bad but definitely not worth $16 for 3 tacos and some chips with shredded cheese on them and a hot sauce

Needs to become a weekend food truck instead of open one day a week. Would be better for everyone workers, customers. Use social media and make more $

Basically reminds me of Homemade "White people" Tacos. Decent enough but hours are just kind of ridiculous. If they are only occasionally open they should share space with other restaurant startup and alternate days or something. I wish them the best but hope they will look at other restaurants models that are only open sometimes, like Tantay locally.

I've heard so much about the infamous Mr. Taco over the years I've lived in Lansing and decided to stop by to see what all the hype is about. A 97.5FM story recently shed some light on the restaurant, including its fluctuating hours of operation, so I scoped out the "Kicked out of Mr. Taco" Facebook group to figure out when they'd be open next. My boyfriend and I waited 30 minutes in the drive through today to get two tacos for $6 just to say we've tried it. While the staff were enthusiastic and kind, the food was about what we expected for a drive through. My curiosity about this spot has finally been laid to rest!

I grew up in Lansing, but live in Europe now. Whenever I come home I make sure I stop by if it's open. It's a nostalgic trip each time, I love the tacos, green quesadilla and taco sauce. It doesn't get much better, and while it's a bit pricey, I can't complain about the food at all. The drive-thru moves at a reasonable clip, and is always full when the restaurant is open. Stop by whenever you have the chance, you won't regret it.
