Was very surprised and encouraged by the extra complementary food they gave me! I was so touched I asked to take a picture with them because I wanted to remember them and what they did for me today? The food was very tasty!?? God bless you all and keep up the good work!??‍♂️?

The Pasta Verde Pesto at Osteria Vegana is a true masterpiece for plant-based dining! I was blown away by the culinary excellence and vibrant flavors packed into this dish. The pasta, cooked to perfection, was a delightful canvas for the rich and aromatic Verde Pesto. The blend of fresh, verdant herbs created a sauce that was both refreshing and indulgent. What's truly impressive is how the chefs at Osteria Vegana have managed to capture the essence of traditional pesto while keeping it entirely vegan.

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in the Sautéed Mushroom and Crackers dish, and it exceeded all my expectations! The mushrooms were perfectly sautéed to bring out their rich, earthy flavor, creating a delightful symphony of tastes with every bite. The pairing with the crackers added a satisfying crunch that complemented the velvety texture of the mushrooms. The dish was beautifully presented, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. The aroma alone was enough to whet my appetite, and the taste delivered on every front. The seasoning was spot-on, allowing the natural essence of the mushrooms to shine through. What sets this dish apart is its simplicity and yet its ability to deliver a complex and satisfying culinary experience. Whether you're a mushroom enthusiast or just someone looking for a delicious appetizer, the Sautéed Mushroom and Crackers dish is a definite winner. Kudos to the chef for creating such a delightful gastronomic masterpiece! I'll undoubtedly be returning for more.

They ran out of red sauce but the chef was accommodating and offered another option. Also offered a free drink to compensate for the extra waiting time. The pizza was good.

3 of us for lunch. As we ordered he said, "we're out of pesto, tomato shipment didn't come in", we should have stopped there. He said he had bruschetta, without tomatoes but olives. Guess we didn't think he meant literally. Bruschetta was literally crusty bread piled with olives. Period. No oil, no cheese. Very dry. I went back up and told him it was dry, he handed me a bottle of rapeseed oil. He said he had soup and described vegetables and broth. It was more like clear, weak tea. Had some micro greens floating in it and onions on the side. He did tell us he didn't have a lot in stock, that after the first of the year it would be a full menu. We felt he should have closed until he could serve the menu as advertised. When we told him our meal was"underwhelming", he halfheartedly apologized. There was no offer of reimbursement for our subpar meal.

Was really excited to try this place. We each ordered different meals. Extremely overpriced food. It was so salty we ended up throwing half of it away. No drink included with the overly priced meal. And my meal looked nothing like the picture. Very disappointed…

Osteria Vegana was very disappointing. I ordered the pinsa romano and, aside from taking 20 minutes, it was basically dried bread with microgreens. There was no pesto, no chick peas, no flavor, nothing. I took it back to the chef and he said he could "add a little more to it". The result was more microgreens and a little olive oil and some unknown sauce. It was inedible. Bad experience, bad food, and even more disappointing that this restaurant is poorly representing vegan/vegetarian food.

Probably the best bruschetta I've had in the Lansing area. All the ingredients were fresh and flavorful.

I ordered the Pasta Verde Pesto (non GF) and I was extremely disappointed. It was soaked in oil with every bite and looked absolutely nothing like the picture. I couldn’t eat more than a few bites without feeling sick.

I really liked the one dish I had - haven't gone back since. Expensive but so is everything in the menu since it is vegan and fairly good quality.
