I ate here on Saturday with my kids. I ordered the lobster and fillet combo and my fillet was well done when I ordered it medium and the waitress didn’t do anything about it.

So today we decided to take the 40 minute drive to red lobster in Lansing Mi. This was the worst experience in my 50 years of loving Red Lobster! Jen our waitress was rude; and just horrible. The food was terrible as well. Had to get up to get our own containers and bags; and asking twice got a sweet and low for my ice tea; I had to go to the bar to get one. We never got any refills on drinks or even asked; same if the food was good; never asked. My stuffed salmon tasted like it had cleaning product on it. The broccoli was like mush and even my salad was rotten. Had to. Ask 3 times to get a sauce for my shrimp. And there was barely anyone in the restaurant! No manager there; and the gal up front was just playing on her home! The only nice person was the bartender who got us our bag and to go box and my sweat and low. And she was 3 times the age of the waitstaff. What a horrible experience. The worst one in my life at any restaurant I have ever visited hands down.

**update 04/24 - Had a difficult visit yesterday. Cleanliness is the issue. The carpet was strewn with detritus, our table had two big smears of grossness, the wall adjacent to the table was just covered with splotches of who-knows-what, the little biscuit plates might not have been washed at all with crumbs and grease on them, my drink glass was visibly dirty - and you could feel a good layer of greasy muck on it, even the windows were dirty. Our server did a good job, though she really should've noticed the unclean plates and such. I would've talked to the manager lady about all the dirt, but she didn't stop by our table. Oh, and my fried fish wasn't cooked well - rubbery/chewy instead of flaky.**Original review - Hey, it's Red Lobster. This one is pretty clean. Never had a problem with service at this location. They get super busy, but they have way more tables than parking spaces, so go ahead and park by JoAnn Fabric - they might still be able to seat you without a wait.During this visit, our biscuits were slightly underdone, but my daughter loved her steak and my shrimp. Like I said, it's Red Lobster. You should know what to expect as far as food goes. If I was smart and had a larger disposable income, I would just get the crab legs every time; king if they have them. Mmmm.

Don’t recommend getting food here. Firstly, our food took a very long time to get out to us, plus, the crab legs weren’t warm at all and cold. The steak also was extremely undercooked and still wasn’t properly cooked when sent back. The crab legs were sent back and we got warm ones in return. This was all the kitchen’s fault as our waiter did an excellent job.

The food here sucks. do not order the shrimp as it now comes with the tails on everything. I asked about this and was told it is now how it comes. salmon portions are cut in half and still charging the same price. it took over 10 minutes to just get waters. there are kids screaming and yelling like it's a McDonald's play place. what happened to this place. it is no longer a good place.

I was totally disappointed. I took my daughter and granddaughter for a late lunch. They were not busy, actually they were pretty dead. There were plenty of dirty tables though, ours had to be wiped down. It smelled like the place needed a good cleaning and airing out. The service was really slow and they didn't bring out one dish until we were about done. They were crab legs. ( they take all of 5 minutes to cook). They tasted really fishy, not like crab. Over all , I don't think the lunch experience was all that. I probably won't come back again. Sorry Red Lobster, you used to be better.

The dining room was littered with many tables left un-bussed or not wiped down. The second day for the waitress and she had no mentor watching or helping her. Food was decent but very slow to come out. The dessert was very good!

A group of my coworkers went today for lunch as a new place to eat. It was dead in there. Hardly any tables filled. We were ushered to a table. And after we ordered we waited a very long time for our food at least 30mins. The only good thing was the cheddar biscuits, came out hot and cheesy. All of our orders were pretty simple, popcorn shrimp, cheeseburger, and flounder sandwich. As soon as the food arrived we asked for boxes because we had to return to work. We all ordered fries. I got about 10 fries which I ate prior to leaving, not salted. The server and hostess both didn't seem like they were happy to be there. I will not be coming back here, at least not for lunch anyways.

Came to red lobster to treat myself after having chemo and radiation. The server was excellent. However the food was not. My crab legs were rubbery and very dirty with no flavor. My friends lobster tails were very over cooked. Also had the stuffed flounder that had a funny taste. Needless to say I will not be coming back.

Not impressed will not go back!!. sticky table, as our waiter brought the glasses of water to the table we were about to order food. He came back to let us know that he had been sent home as it had slowed down. Wao,what a poor way to treat an employee ! no wonder why there is so much turnover in staff and showing preferences for some. rude to the customer, we were baffled. the waitress was average service. There is no reason to have sent the worker home to assign the table to someone who had just finished waiting on a big group of 8 to 10 people. Show appreciation for your employees and be fair.

The tiger shrimp cocktail was mind-blowing. They look like the shrimp cocktail in Beetlejuice. The steak was also outstanding.Dietary restrictions: They have a lot of gluten-free stuff.
