We brought home takeout. Wings, tenders, Mac n cheese (which is fire!!!) and the best thing ever, Fried corn!!! It was all cooked perfectly, chicken juicy still by the time we got home. Their seasoning is amazing! Everything was so so good! Please support them through this horrible construction season that is affecting Michigan Ave businesses!

Have to try this place. Because of the construction happening with Michigan Avenue, you can only access the business through Quality Dairy’s parking lot. But it is so worth it! My first time eating here. I ordered catfish nuggets, jumbo shrimp and smelt all as meals. The seasoning and flavoring were fantastic! Didn’t have a burnt oil taste like you do with other places around town when the oil needed to be changed weeks ago. Everything was delicious and flavorful. They have a hot seasoning they can put on your fish, shrimp or chicken. Get it! It’s wonderful! Now for the price. Extremely reasonable. Especially for the portions you get. . If you are looking to try a new place, come here. You won’t be disappointed. Lastly, the staff is very friendly and want to make your experience enjoyable.

Seahouse Fish & Chicken far exceeded my expectations.We tried the scallops, orange roughy, and large shrimp. Each item had a different batter/breading and all were delicious. Each item was cooked perfectly. It was super fresh, tasty and not fishy at all. The seasoning was on point. Everything was hot and crispy, even after a 20 minute drive home. Even the fries were good.I’ll definitely be a loyal customer! The only thing I wish was that they made their own tartar sauce.(Also, if they could fix the options on the DoorDash app to be able to order Mac n cheese and/or fried mushrooms, that’d be great. There’s currently a glitch that requires choosing a size but there are no options available to choose so they can’t be added to the cart.)

Crack Chicken is the original OG establishment when it comes to fried chicken, while East Side is more well-known because being on tv. However, Seahouse offers the superior chicken among all of them, in my professional opinion. As a lifelong resident of Lansing, I have had the opportunity to dine at each of these establishments on numerous occasions. In my experience, the chicken at Seahouse consistently appears to be more substantial and flavorful. The color of the chicken is the ideal shade, and the staff is consistently friendly and willing to engage in conversation. In contrast, the chicken at other establishments tends to be drier and overcooked, resulting in a darker and less appetizing appearance. Consequently, Seahouse has become the exclusive choice for my family, and they consistently meet our expectations. Additionally, their pricing appears to be more competitive, and they frequently offer coupons.

I got a Combo with Large shrimp and a 5 Piece wing, mozzarella sticks, Fried corn and a fried lobster tail. Everything was really good except the lobster tail tasted like extra fishy which I was not a fan of don’t know if they sit too close to eachother before cooking or if it’s the oil but my shrimp did not taste fishy. Everything was friend to perfection definitely will return.Parking: A bunch of parking.

The food was fresh and hot, they make it as you order, also they have a seafood counter where you can pick your selections of fish and other seafood. The staff was very friendly and helpful, patient. It was quite busy and this was on Sunday. Be prepared to wait.
Worst place I've been to. Was trying to find a local random joint to eat fish and chips. We went there, and they were very VERY disorganized. They aren't sit down. It took them 45min to get 2 dish and chips. And he didn't tell us our meal was done. It wasn't until I had seen it sitting there for about 10 min I asked him. Plus, no coleslaw, no nothing! Just fish with a few fries!!! Never again.
