They do a fantastic job, and make sure to take advantage of their happy hour deals. Their sliders are great, but I've tried most of their other stuff as wel and it's all impressive. It's hard to beat their beer and appetizer specials.

3 tables 20 minutes to get service 45 minutes for cold food. No one tried to make it right side it is what it is. Bartender extremely rude. Won't be back. Try not to give nad reviews but this place deserves every bit of it.

Not sure why as I’m leaving this review, this place only has 4.2 stars and was DEAD on the afternoon leading up to the MSU/U of M game. Great service! Lovely happy hour and great bites! More people need to make the trek because it’s so so worth!

The reason I’m giving this place a 1 star is that my food took a hour to come out and my waitress kept saying “your next” even tho multiple orders came out from people that ordered after me. When my food did come it was good! And the atmosphere was cool!
Great last stop if you're bar hopping down town, great food great drinks. I did order food a few nights ago and the closed 30 minutes early and when I called them the guy said I had to get my refund through door dash even though I ordered through their website (the charge even saus slider car and not door dash) so I wasted 30$, wouldnt recommend putting in orders as their hours are inconsistent with whats online and whats on the door.

They were super busy and totally not prepared. Staff needs to be better trained. We were at the table for at least 30 minutes before having to go get someone to even take our order. 3 other tables walked out and a table sat 2 after us were waited on before us. The food and drinks were great. The host had the most he was the only one I would give 5 stars to.

I came to Sidecar really looking forward to a good night out, but unfortunately the experience was overshadowed by the manager. Her behavior was nasty, unprofessional, and honestly unhinged. It was shocking to see such a lack of proper management in a place that otherwise has a lot of potential.
That being said, I do want to acknowledge that the staff was fantastic—they were kind, attentive, and clearly working hard to keep the experience positive despite the circumstances. They deserve five stars, but the manager brought the whole experience down to one.
Really disappointed overall. Until there’s a change in management, I won’t be returning.

Stopped in earlier in the week for the first time with friends, had a fantastic experience, and fell in love with the Carolina Dog on the menu! Fiancé and I decided to come in to grab a togo order (9/28/25), and sadly when we originally put in our order, the pulled pork they put on the Carolina dog was still prepping in the oven. When we came back to pick up our order, I ended up choosing a different hot dog, but asked for a small side of slaw so I could semi-make my hot dog like the Carolina dog. In the super short amount of time it took to get my one hot dog, the server/manager (he was wearing a Chicago Bulls jersey) found out the pulled pork had finished, and took the liberty of making me the Carolina dog I had been looking forward to! I would've been completely fine with the one I ended up ordering, but I was so impressed by his customer service initiative and attention to detail! Thank you so much, and we'll look forward to coming back!
