Worst pizza, i have ever seen pizza like this no cheese enough, no sauce, and burnt in the buttom. I'm not going to this restaurant again.

The date night pizza is my favorite, sounds like a strange combination but it's excellent. If you ever get a chance to try their olive burger pizza (they only have it on special occasions) it's better than most burger joints in lansing!

Soggy, overpriced, Neapolitan style pizza. They have unique ingredient combos, outweighed by lack of value, poor execution in cooking. So much for a 900 degree oven, zero crisp.

Love their pizza so much. Great people, great smiles and great food. What more could you ask for? Do not sleep on this place!

Pizzas ok, but incredibly overpriced, and always takes forever. They also forgot the bacon on my bacon jammer…

Staff was kind.
Strange to have a place with "Slice" in the name and only have one old shriveled slice ready. Several whole pizzas sitting on the side getting cold, but "you can't have those".

Pizza would be good if it wasn't burnt. It just smells burnt...

$5.50 for one slice. No thanks.

I'm sorry to say this but the slices are too expensive. Across town in bells pizza it's way cheaper and better quality.

Cheese squares were burnt and doughy. Not enough meat on the BBQ pork pizza. Also, twice we noticed how horrible their slices of pizza looked. Not a completely great experience. I did tell them this too, maybe they'll do better for others. ?

Great salads and good thin crust pizza! Staff was great walking us through the choices on our first visit. Will stop again.

Best pizza ever! It's also the least filling pizza ever in my opinion... Crust is very thin and the pizza itself is atleast half the weight of a normal chain type pizza. Still the best though! Love the charred crust!

Came into the restaurant for pickup at 1:40pm. One customer in front of me and he's saying 'it's ok! ' to the kid employee at the oven. Turns out he somehow completely burned the bread sticks and pulled them straight out of the oven and had to dump them into the trash. Bad sign. Besides us three, the restaurant was completely empty for lunch. How did this kid chef manage to burn bread sticks? Even though the customer ahead of me was saying it's ok, I could tell he was frustrated.

Eventually I got my order from the employee and hoped my pizza and wings weren't burned. Came home, and sure enough my pizza looked quite blackened. Not totally inedible, but sure enough there were patches of black throughout the bottom of the pizza. Overall, the pizza tasted ok. Nice sauce and cheese. But sparsely topped for a supreme pizza, and not much texture or crunch for being a brick oven pizza. Somehow they managed to make it flabby and blackened at the same time!

Wings were very tender, and had a nice smoked flavor to them. Surprisingly they were not burned at all. I went for the sweet and savory flavor. But this sauce tasted like it was straight sugar, and no savory. I mean it tasted like actual syrup. Luckily it wasn't totally drenched in sauce, so it was still edible.

Overall, my meal was middle of the road. A 2 or 3 out of 5. For this high of a price, I expected something better. I hear the owner of this place is quite popular in Lansing and has multiple restaurants, so I must admit I came in with high expectations but was severely disappointed.

Why would I go here for pizza and wings instead of Domino's, jets, or Marco's? At least those chains will give me a decent deal, predictable quality, and speedy service.

It will be a long time before I give this place another try.

I had high hopes for this place but we paid for two large pizzas (14”)and received two medium pizzas (12”). In addition, several of the Parmesan packets we received were already open and unusable. Management was notified with photographic proof and I was given the excuse that they were transitioning to hand stretching the dough and the employees need more training, but no effort was made to try to compensate me for my losses. If this was a $5 pizza I’d cut my losses, but these are $17 pizzas, so there’s really no excuse for poor quality that they’re unwilling to stand behind. $17 for a medium pepperoni pizza? I don’t think so….

No thank you. Burned crust. One pizza was fine, tasted pretty good. The other two weren't. I take a bite and just taste burnt. Not interested in paying money for this. First and last time for me.

Picked up 2 pizzas tonight using their MSUFCU bogo Wednesday deal. The staff was slammed when I arrived and they politely let me know that my pies were being topped. I ran a pizza shop in my younger days, and I knew they were doing their best. The pizza was phenomenal. I made sure the staff was tipped on the full price of the order, minus promo, and I will skip the Wednesday rush next time. The pizza is worth paying full price on a less busy night. SUPPORT LOCAL businesses like Slice by Saddleback. Of course you're going to pay more. Your dollars stay in the community, not Illich's wallet.
