We normally love the food here, but the last 2 times we got take out the meat was burnt and very dry. The sides were also just kind of slopped in the box so that the beans and the mac n cheese were all mashed together. I don't know what happened, but they can definitely be doing better.

My 10 yr old won't eat anything. I took some Smoke N' Pig home and after he ate the chicken and seasoned fries he told me we need to eat there more often. I couldn't believe it! Personally, I thought the food was tremendous and so did the rest of my family. The Smoked Wings and the Spicy BBQ sauce were extraordinary. I will definitely be stopping in more often.

I've had the brisket and rib tips on numerous occasions. For the Lansing area, yeah 4 stars but that's not saying much if you live here. You know the food is bland. Brisket is fatty but does have a nice flavor and their sides are on par. Spicy Rib tips were on point and their BBQ sauce is the best I've had in the area. Big words from a Texas turd. Make the cornbread on your own at home, it's Jiffy lol.

Third and last visit, ordered the wings and they were small and dried out, not worth it!! Hubs ordered potato salad that was just wrong for a BBQ joint!!! No onions, no eggs but I noticed dehydrated small amount of peppers... guessing this isn't made at the restaurant and purchased from their food distribution company, like GFS bad processed food. We ordered brisket - fatty to be exact it was good don't get me wrong, but pieces had over 1/2" of fat, I removed the fat it was almost 3/4 cup...so basically I purchased fat!!! I think they could have trimmed the meat after cooking..just saying. Good luck in the future, I'll take my money to Saddleback BBQ.
