My husband and I have been coming to Soup Spoon for 13 years. We love supporting a local business and seeing them thrive - they locally source ingredients, their cooks care about keeping things fresh and creative, and the service we’ve received has always been great. We feel like we are seeing a friend when we are recognized and welcomed in by Keith- truly, just a very generous and knowledgeable person. We love the food and the people here so much, we usually come in for every significant milestone we want to celebrate together.

When you’re in the desert of Lansing, especially if you’re near the hospital, this place is an oasis that cannot be passed by. Walked over on a hot day, the vibe was instantly chill and pleasant upon entering. The food hit exactly the spot. Black and blue tenderloin wrap couldn’t be better, breakfast sandwich with pancakes as the bread, such a treat.

Service was excellent in the beginning but dwindled when I made a comment about the food I ordered. I ordered a gyro sandwich but was not a true gyro. It was cut up pieces of pork with heavy rosemary flavoring. The waitress was not nice and had an attitude with me for the rest of the meal. She did offer their chicken soup which was not good either. I was very disappointed because I have been to the restaurant before and enjoyed my meal.

It’s a nice place to get the family together to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The host always greets me right away to get me seated. I love that they have a wide variety of pescatarian and vegetarian options. The bar is nice also!

Every time I'm in Lansing for work I go to the Soup Spoon Cafe! I will often go 2 days in a row even so that I can have something different each day because it's so delicious! My mother had the lamb last time we were there and I had a spicy seafood pasta dish that was amazing!
