The breakfast was decent. My husband really liked the Mexican omelet. I had one scrambled egg with bacon and potatoes. The bacon was not crisp - not cooked. My husband wouldn't even eat them. He liked the soft potatoes; me, not so much. The one good thing was the price. But if you can't eat the food, the price doesn't matter much.
Went with my fiance. It felt like I was stepping into my grandmother's house again. It felt very nostalgic, warm, and welcoming. Service was, to say the least, superb. Our server was training a new server, but they both stayed on top of the tables and were very sweet, kind, and accommodating. Sadly, the food and coffee were not the greatest. The coffee on the Saturday I visited was very weak and watery. I ordered my eggs over-medium and they were quite runny and barely cooked to over easy. The pancakes were fluffy, but tasted like not enough sugar and too much baking powder was used, which can make them almost salty tasting; they were not terribly sweet.
