Burgers were decent as always. Got Super Size Cheese Fries, and was given a sauce cup that was not even 1/3 full.. it's not a large sauce cup of cheese. Skimping on things because you feel like it is an atrocious way to do do business in the food industry. Do Better. Whoever owns this place needs to get new managers in here ASAP. They gave me another cheese cup after telling them I'd just take the refund and give it back to them. But that one was just as empty and embarrassing as the first. At the end we still didn't have half the cheese that should have come with the order like it does when it's properly managed. Mark your days Poorly Managed Steak N Shakes.

Cannot pay cash, no one is there to help you figure it out. The pop machine requires you to scan a qr code. Very confusing at first. Food was tasty, but how they're cutting cost by eliminating every aspect of customer service is annoying

What's happened to S&S? They used to be an inexpensive place with a cool vibe and good food. Now, there's no indoor staff and they are way more expensive than other fast food. For what? Almost $15 for a large value meal? Duped once...wont be back. Rip off

Disappointing visit. I wanted to try the new fries, and left having no desire to return. I had no issue with the kiosk. But then once I scanned my receipt to get my fountain drink, it was low on syrup and tasted off. So I dumped it out and scanned again for a refill, and after 2/3 of the cup the machine timed out. When our food arrived, my burger was pretty gross. I ordered the “bitterburger” expecting something like Culver’s, but instead got a slab of cold margarine on a burger patty not hot enough to melt it. So I ate around the outside avoiding the slab of congealed oil in the middle.
The two ketchup dispensers were out, and the staff person told another customer they were also out of salt. I will find alternatives going forward. But the fires were good, earning the extra star.

None of the tables were clean. someone vomited in the bathroom all over the floor it wasnt cleaned up. no one was wearing hair nets or hats. A women possibly supervisor was walking around on her phone. the drink station was dirty. it wasnt very busy. Orderd Fresco melt and cheese fries it took 30 minutes. Only one peice of the bread was sort of toasted for the Fresco. Paid extra grilled onions that weren't on there. They put chili on the cheese fries and the chili wasnt good.

Kobe is the best worker there. I work at the Walmart there and he is genuinely such a joy when I stop in for some food after work. Great guy.

Took 20+ minutes to get a milkshake(was not busy only person in there). When I asked for a refund because I was tired of waiting they miraculously said it had been ready. Why not tell me prior that it was ready then?

I am leaving a one star review because I asked for a cup of water with my order and the manager said they don’t give out water you must by a water bottle. I’ll never return over a cup of water. And then he manager and crew member walked away laughing.

I wish I could take back my tip. And I work in food service myself, so that says a lot.
You can only order at the kiosk. It’s gigantic, blinding, and full if a million pop ups. You have to scan a QR code for the drink machine to work, a tiny little sign explains it so for a few minutes I thought the machine was just broken. There wasn’t the drink size cup I paid for stocked. Normally I wouldn’t care that much, but the whole vibe irritated me that I didn’t want to be overcharged. Hard to find someone for the cup, who then tried to get me to just get a small by just.. giving me a small cup. Employees are so lifeless, it’s sad. I wanted to add something to my order that I had forgotten but could not be bothered to go back to the kiosk. Constant advertisement for bitcoin which was extremely depressing. Food wasn’t good, I could’ve just made myself a frozen burger at home. My friend’s order was wrong. I usually am the most patient and sympathetic with food service, but at that moment, I felt like I could’ve become a middle aged entitled boomer asking for a refund. Couldn’t though, it’s all digital, and I wont bring myself to that. So I can only hope this place shuts down or goes back to being a normal restaurant.

So it's 5pm and we just came up to the drive through, and pretty quick we were told they can't take any drive thru orders?! Another store in Indiana had the staff stop us at the door and tell us they were closed. It was before 8 pm and there were people sitting inside eating. Another time at the door they said they were closed because they didn't have enough staff. Reasons why I don't even try there anymore.

The smell of dirty dish rag hits you as soon as you walk in. All tables are dirty so no worries about that dirty dish rag being used on them. Survive is slow. Food is ok, little pricey for what you get. My advice, deep clean the place!
