I recently had the chance to try Sugar Shack’s cookies and had really been looking forward to them — I’d heard such great things. Since my husband has a dairy allergy, I called the shop to ask whether their peanut butter cookies contain dairy, especially because I couldn’t find any ingredient or allergen information online.
When I asked, the person who answered the phone responded with a very blunt “of course,” in a tone that felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive. It really caught me off guard. I wasn’t trying to be difficult — my husband’s safety depends on this kind of information, and plenty of peanut butter cookie recipes actually don’t include dairy, so I thought it was a fair question.
I understand people get busy, but it would mean a lot if allergy questions were handled with more care and respect. I also hope the bakery considers making allergen information more accessible. A little more kindness in moments like this would go a long way.

Extremely disappointed and disgusted. My spouse came in yesterday and ordered a dozen of sugar cookies and we got them home and they were undercooked severely and tasted disgusting. I’ve been coming to this establishment for over 10 years and never had an issue but this is not ok. Do quality checks before giving paying customers undercooked desserts

Wanted something sweet so I stopped here. The man behind the counter was very rude and seemed annoyed because I asked for a slice of red velvet cake. He said they didn’t come by the slice and pointed at the sign. I said oh you have red velvet cupcakes, I didn’t see any so I didn’t know. He shook his head in annoyance. I said look it’s my first time here I didn’t know, then said never mind heading towards the door. He then explained it’s a build your own cupcake option. Never again, I regret stopping by. Too rude for me, forget you and those cupcakes!

any time I go here it takes a long time to get help, the people aren’t that nice, and the sweets are not worth the wait. save your time and money and go elsewhere

We ordered cupcakes to be delivered for my sister’s birthday. Unfortunately they were stale and could not be eaten. Would not order again.

I ordered two cupcakes of different flavors and both had the consistency of muffins rather than cupcakes. The flavors and colors all seem very artificial. The buttercreams have a very strong chemical flavor and are way too sweet. I unfortunately did not finish these and would not purchase again. They aren't horrible and they look really nice, but the recipes for the cake and frosting need to be revised - even if it means slightly raising the price.

Delicious place to get some baked desserts and enjoy life with family and friends. Staff are very nice. Cash discount and military discount available. Chocolate lava cookie was such a delicious and gooey dessert that I had drama about it for days!

My wife and stopped in and ordered two of their strawberry cupcakes. They looked amazing and we were told that they were their best sellers on the new menu. We took them home started to eat them and the chocolate cake part tasted freezer burnt. I dissected the cupcake and it was definitely the cake frosting and strawberry filling tasted fine. I know other bakeries that do make cakes/cupcakes and freeze them to keep them fresh so that not a concern but it just ruined the flavor of the $15 I just spent. The frosting was good but definitely overly sweet if you like that.

Stopped in here today have always gotten great cookies. What was in the box when I got home didn’t even resemble chocolate chip cookies. . They looked raw yet were burnt at the same time. The color was really odd.

If you park in this SHARED parking lot for too long, the owner will have your car towed and will lie to the towing company that it was there overnight. He is also incredibly disrespectful to women. Go to Bake N Cakes instead

Accidentally parked in his parking lot for 1 hour and came out to my car being missing!!! Come to find out the owner of this place called the tow company and I had to pay $300 to get it out. When I spoke to the owner to try to reason with him he was yelling at me standing over me while I was broken down crying. I told him about how I am a single mom and I can’t come up with $300 for this and he said “I DONT CARE I HAVE BILLS TOO” very sad situation.
Parking: Towed me.saying I was there over night when I was only there for one hour for a salon service. I was considering trying out some of the baked good after but he towed me?, the reviews are terrible on this place anyways.
