Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Cookie Cake around here? There used to be a place in the mall that did them, but malls were killed by bad decisions and private equity, so that doesn't exist anymore. The grocery stores will do them but...if you care about someone you can probably do better than that.In less than 24 hours (and with a quoted turnaround time over the phone of less than 6 hours potentially!), I got a custom cookie cake that is a really good, solid chocolate chip cookie for a very fair price. Icing was just right too, and my friend got exactly what they wanted. The store was nice as well, and a big sign on the wall listed 20 flavors of pies that were available to order, and promised that they can make any custom pie as well. I'll probably try that next time.Parking: there is a spot in front and a handicapped spot next to it, as well as ample parking and a back entrance right behind the store

Workers don’t wash their hands, touching ready to eat food with bare hands. Disgusting.

The chocolate chip cookie was great. The service of the girl working g there was great. She was friendly and knowledgeable. This location was the only place Open in Lansing on a Sunday. So it satisfied my sweet tooth, thank you! However the sugar cookie base of the cinnamon heart cookie was…not good. It tasted like it was left in your Grandma’s musty kitchen overnight. For a place named sugar shack I thought the cookies could’ve been sweeter...the cupcakes looked beautiful, however I didn’t get one of those.Again, great service..just not the best type of cookie.

I paid $1.90 for a chocolate chip cookie that's half the size of my phone. I understand inflation has gone up but for the cookie to be so small for almost $2 is ridiculous to me. My son finished it in two bites. The taste of the cookie isn't bad, I've had better. For $2 I expect it to be bigger in size and better in flavor. I will not be returning.

This place doesn't do cakes! Not their niche, as they seemed extremely disgusted when I asked. I have had their cupcakes and they are quite good.

We used cupcakes to replace a cake at our wedding in August. We ordered 10 dozen cupcakes, of various flavors. The owner himself delivered them to us on a Sunday morning! He was prompt and polite, and they were fresh and ready to go! He also rented us a cupcake tower that made the presentation spectacular. With a small wedding of about 65 guests, at the end of the night we only had about 10 cupcakes left. They were very popular! The pricing compared to a traditional wedding cake was about 1/2 the cost! I really can't say enough good things. The product is wonderful, and the service is great, and the pricing is more than reasonable!

After the extremely transphobic and frankly violent image they posted on instagram, along with many corroborating stories of peoples’ terrible experiences with the staff, I’ll be sure to let my friends and family know this is not a safe or inclusive establishment.

You have to try the sugar free options!

It was hard to decide what would satisfy the sweet tooth from their giant selection. However, the brownies were omg decadent and delicious. The red velvet cupcake stole the show though; it had a donut hole in the middle! And I do-nut want that to end, so I'll have to come back for more!

Yoooo you guys were the best when your hours were somewhat normal. What’s going on? Closing at 9 on a Saturday? It used to be 11. You’re killing me. I’m sad. 6pm today on a Sunday!! Insomnia cookies is lame! We’d rather come to you guys if you were open till a decent hour!

Was treated to the chocolate peanut cupcake with a very tasty frosting. The cupcake was moist and had that tasty homemade flavor; extremely delicious. The BEST cupcake I have had ever in the Lansing/East Lansing area. Can't wait to come back and try another flavor cupcake!

I seen ice cream cone cup cakes. Which when I looked closer had mold growing on it. Hr said he had more in the back. Nah, I'll pass. If it's in the display case out front it makes me wonder whats out back. Shame too....cause I've been wanting to stop for awhile. Hubby & I love bakeries

The cookies are awesome, warm and flavorful. They are made with real butter, and melt in your mouth. My only complaint is the cost, but they are really worth it. Every time I have gone in the store, they have been pleasant and helpful. They answered my questions about allergens completely! No soy in the cookies I love!

Your cupcakes tasted good unlike your political stickers and decor lingering around the cash register. Apparently, you think Covid is/was funny - tell that to the survivors and people who lost their loved one. I will not be returning.
