Finally found this place. Small menu with a good percentage being vegan and vegetarian. I am very culturally diverse , however very fist time trying Peruvian food. I think it’s something different than what is normally offered in the area & im all for it.
Amazing and unique experience, had both saltados and the were great. Cannot wait to try the wings and ceviche. Definitely coming back!
We had a wonderful meal last evening. We had the beef and chicken stir fries and donuts. Delicious sauce. Our meal was served in about 30 minutes. Very clean restaurant. Recyclable products used for dine in and then a lid is provided to take leftovers. Very nice atmosphere. We would eat here again.
Location not updated on Google maps, so we are at the food truck where Tantay was supposed to be. Google is not easy to work with to change business information I know!
First time there and we ordered their Aji de Gallina and Solterito de Quinoa. The salad was light and refreshing while the chicken was so flavorful and delicious. We will visit again.

Tantay has terrific food and warm friendly staff. Service was spread very thin when I was there, as the place was overflowing with customers and parties were moving around to find seats. I feel like some kind of marker to give customers would help the servers locate parties when food is ready.

Unique and delicious food, the owner checked on us and told us about it all. I also thought everything was very reasonably priced. Definitely give it a try, we'll be back!

Greater Lansing’s restaurant scene continues to expand in exciting ways. Tantay has had a long presence in the area, starting in local farmers markets. The food is remarkable. I had the Aji de Champerones, and it was perfectly balanced in flavor, with a spicyness that did not overwhelm, but certainly was felt in the sinuses.
Tantay is a big recommendation from this diner, with a menu that accomdates any kind of diet or needs.

Such a cute restaurant! The owner is beyond kind and helpful. He took the time to explain the menu and helped guide me in ordering based on my taste. My daughter is 2, and he was so patient as she dropped her water and was active in the restaurant. The chicken stew and wings were also amazing! My husband says they are the best wings he’s ever had…didn’t even need ranch

Fresh and delicious! I love this food.
We’ve loved Tantay since we tried it years ago at the Meridian farmers market! So happy to see a brick and mortar location so I can get aji de gallina whenever I want! Jose, the owner, is fantastic too!

So happy for the vegan options! The options are clearly labeled. We ordered at its food truck. All the vegan options are very flavorful and have a delightful variety of textures. Great prices. We highly recommend giving this place a try.
