Authentic Mexican food that is priced right! I had their tacos and a piece of tres leches cake and it hit all the right notes. The staff are super friendly and helpful choosing options from the menu. The kitchen staff must be having a blast in the back, music is bumpin' the whole time. I'll be back the next time I visit Lansing!

The man who helped me at the register salvage this review. As well as the quality of this breakfast burrito, I just purchased. This is the best breakfast burrito I have had in Lansing. The mild green salsa pears very well with it. Highly recommend. If you’re gonna do a pick up, give yourself extra time than what they tell you. One employee was very unwilling to help me didn’t ask if I was there to dine in or pick up. I was basically treated as if I was a DoorDasher or or some shit. Was not acknowledge for a long period of time.

This was a disappointing experience. We were recommended this restaurant by a family friend and unfortunately it did not meet expectations. For starters the salsa was devoid of any flavor. No traditional smoky, acidic or even spicy flavor just bland tomato sauce. It needed salt at the very least. At least the chips were good.Next up were the drinks. I’ll keep this short. The beer was flat. Finally the biggest disappointment: the entree. If I order a three meat fajita that costs $23 the expectation is to get more than 4 pieces of shrimp, three pieces of strip steak and a couple pieces of chicken to compliment the mountain of undercooked peppers and onions (which were completely drenched in oil as well). The sides did not improve the dish either. For starters what am I going to do with two whole slices of tomato? A simple pico side is not hard at minimum it’s four ingredients. Tomato slices are just flat out lazy. The refried beans and rice were also devoid of any flavor. Once again, at the very least, salt would’ve improved the dish even slightly. Altogether a flavorless, disappointing experience. At least our server was nice.

Soon as you walk in, the atmosphere is inviting. Very spacious sitting down to dine in so youwill not be clustered. The food was great, got spicy, and it was as delicious as it smelled. The flavor had a nice balance so that you can enjoy all of it. Highly recommend, it is somewhere I would definitely go with my date or by myself.

Wow! Tonight was my first time eating here and I am NOT disappointed. My husband and I both had the birria taco dinner, comes with 3 tacos w/ broth to dunk, rice, and beans. It was sooo delicious! 10/10, highly recommend!! I’ll be back soon 😁

The food was good, but the problem is they don't give you a receipt because they charge you for the tip. We ate there and asked for the bill, but they refused to give it to us. They had already charged us $15 for the tip, and since they still hadn't given us the bill, we left them another $25 tip, even though they had already charged us.

The food was ok. It seemed like a good hole-in-the-wall restaurant first, but for the price of the food we didn't get any sides. In the middle of our meal, the DJ (?) blared music at a very high volume from speakers directly behind my girlfriend and I. This was so loud we had to step outside until it was over. We paid the bill and left immediately after, didn't even finish our meal. There are plenty of other places to eat nearby.

Great authentic Mexican food; my favorite place in Lansing! It’s hard to find authentic food in the area and El Chaparrito fits the bill perfectly. Infinitely better than the American-Mexican food that’s a parking lot away.
