The Green Door Bar & Grill

Dropped by for a drink with friends and was charged $10 per person for cover, 15 min before last call at 1230 pm. When I asked for a bud light at closing as other customers were be being served shots I was turned down. Not a very fair or fun experience.

The staff and fellow patrons were super nice and friendly. They don't currently have food available, however you can bring outside food in. I was too early to experience the live entertainment on my first visit, but the entire establishment had a very relaxed and nice vibe, and I will certainly be making future visits. Drinks were also well priced, and staff was willing to make me something fruity upon request, when I wasn't certain what type of drink I'd like

This was my go to place in all of Lansing when I was in grad school. It was the only place in town that had live music all week and I never had a bad time here. It's definitely got a certain vibe but it's fun! If it wasn't for the Green Door, I wouldn't have made it through the stresses of grad school. This place helped me escape the anxiety even if just temporarily. I will definitely stop by next time I am in the area.

Cover charge was odd, was charged $5 over an hour before the band came on then they went around with clipboards and tried to charge me again..Drink service at the bar was great.Pool table was quite old.No pull tabs, no keno.

This place is always a Vibe everytime great service, great entertainment. I never had a bad experience here. Ppl dancing having a good time. I have never tried the food, but I hear they have great barfood.

Went for New Year's eve ,It was okay, needed more stools,,lot of people standing.. Drinks were messed up ,not what was ordered, 3 times.Too bad it's so small in there ,usually has good bands!
