Had the original fish & chips along w/ mussels & shrimp and the artichoke appetizer. The best, authentic food I have had in a very long time! The sauce on mussels was just amazing. Fish batter so light & crispy! The artichoke dip was fabulous!! Highly reccomend this place. I absolutely will return!! Prices were very reasonable.

This spot is a nice little hidden gem tucked back across from Frandor! 🏠💎

The atmosphere is such a vibe✨️ (the booths have tvs at them which are perfect if you wanna catch a game while you eat📺⚾️🏀🏈🏒), the staff is great🙋‍♀️, the food is delicious😋! I love fried pickles and I swear theirs are the best! 🥒

Our second trip. Several of us had the fish and shrimp plate. The shrimp were great but the fish were ok. A couple others had the lobster roll and reported that they were excellent. We enjoyed very good service; the waitress was very attentive.

we come here all the time, great food, great service, always good people, at times they’re busy, it’s not the largest but as we all should be understanding. The world doesn’t accommodate just you, anyways highly recommend, they do a great job, try the chicken quesadillas out. YUM. If you’re looking to come in as a walkin on graduation weekend, on campus, as a LARGE group, have some understanding. Sorry the world doesn’t accommodate to you <3. Anyways Old bag of nails is great, don’t listen to the grumpy old heads who expect everything handed to them who don’t get their way. Wah Wah. Sorry their ignorance annoyed me.

Was in Lansing dress shopping, and we needed to get lunch. We are from out of town, and never heard of this place. Decided to try it out and loved it. We got blackberry margaritas, they were perfect. And the food was amazing. Wish we lived closer to come back sooner

Great service that perfectly matches the family friendly feel of a homemade meal. I recommend 5*. Add a few more non meat options for bonus stars. The GIANT soft Bavarian pretzel with cheese sauce was an excellent take home options and delicious later in the night, staying in the nearby walkable hotels. 👊

Walk in ( because they don’t do reservations) with 13 ppl on the evening of the MSU graduation with 3 generations of our family. The hostess was obviously annoyed as soon as we came in and said it would be an hour wait while there were tables open. We said ‘ok we will wait at the bar’ she said ‘ there are only 4 bar stools open and you can’t stand at the bar… what?! Within about 10 minutes they set up into 2 booth next to an empty 10 top….we asked if we could add another small table to the 10 top so we could all sit together and the answer was simply ‘ no’ . So we go to two booth then ask for a chair at the end of one booth and we again were told ‘no’ this time the waitress said it would be a fire hazard…what? Half the other tables were empty… plenty of room for the fire department if they were needed 🙄. The booths have TV’s in them, one of our party members asked if the channel could be changed to a basketball game… obviously this was a problem 🤷‍♀️ The hostess and waitress were nothing but rude the entire time which was so unfortunate since we all had just gathered at the hotel next door from all over the country to celebrate our graduates. Food was ok but Terrible experience

I feel bad on weekend like graduation when out of state or town folks walk in. Demand a table for 27 guest like anyone including the local Olive Garden could accommodate (sarcasm clearly) I suggest you go back to your perfect little home far away from the chaos that causes you to write reviews that literally stem from you not getting what you want like you’re two.

About the worst restaurant experience ever. Started at the front of the house rude, unable to accommodate simple reasonable requests and the rude service continued … no wonder they are nearly empty on one of the busiest nights of the year. Nowhere near an Irish pub no common sense or customer service. Owners should let the staff know they are in the hospitality business. Good service means we stay in business and have a chance at a decent tip… I would be surprised to see they are still in business this time. Ext year

I tried something new. Philly cheese steak with sweet potato fries. It was so good. Especially the meat was soft and tender. I normally take a pic. But I was with my old coworkers. Since retiring December 2025, I haven't seen them. They have the best fish and chips.
