I just moved back to the Lansing area after 20 years. I just happened to see this place and came in. I had a few drinks. The place is a bit quiet during the week. But it was a cool somewhat of a dive bar. But thise are the bars I like. I hate fancy uppity drink places so this was perfect for me. Kathy was cool. And i met a young couple and talked to him for a while. I will definitely be going back.
The place had no more than 10 people which made it nice to meet up with some friends. I ordered what was supposed to be a blackened chicken sandwich and there was no Cajun seasoning on it. The chicken was cook perfect, just missing the seasoning.
The food was great! They have some very different combinations that are very tasty! The service was good. One waitress for the whole place, she did spectacularly. The atmosphere is okay, however it's very noisy if there are a lot of people there. A bit hard to converse.
