Our first visit yesterday and it did not disappoint. A bar atmosphere with a dining area that you can actually talk and hear your guests. The food is wonderful. We dove into the appetizers to start. Pop goes the weasel was our favorite with the pretzel, and Brussels sprouts right up there in the favorite category. Sweet potato tots were surprisingly delicious. Nachos, fish, and roast beef on cholow bread were very good. Can't wait to go through the rest of the menu! Drinks...
I just moved back to the Lansing area after 20 years. I just happened to see this place and came in. I had a few drinks. The place is a bit quiet during the week. But it was a cool somewhat of a dive bar. But thise are the bars I like. I hate fancy uppity drink places so this was perfect for me. Kathy was cool. And i met a young couple and talked to him for a while. I will definitely be going back.
The place had no more than 10 people which made it nice to meet up with some friends. I ordered what was supposed to be a blackened chicken sandwich and there was no Cajun seasoning on it. The chicken was cook perfect, just missing the seasoning.
