Had belongings stolen by the door staff. Acted like they had no idea what we were talking about when confronted about the situation. Sad that this place earns a 1 star from me because of the people they choose to hire. Next time we’ll take our business somewhere else.

Interesting that there is two different vibes. One more country and one more hip hop. Not enough places to sit and no dance floor. But liked the beer pong and connect 4.

I’ve been to Tin Can many times, and it’s upsetting to see the new changes. The absence of good music and the decline of food is terrible. It's time to return to the good days where people could enjoy good music, food, and drinks. No more country clubs that only play music from 2006.

Disappointing Changes at Tin Can Bar in Downtown LansingAs a longstanding patron of Tin Can Bar in downtown Lansing, it's with a heavy heart that I express my disappointment with recent developments at the establishment. Over the years, Tin Can on Michigan Ave has been a beacon of inclusivity, embracing diverse music genres and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all. However, the recent decision by management to filter out RB and Hip Hop artists under the guise of creating a "safer" environment is deeply troubling. It sends a message of internal bias and discrimination, which is disheartening for a customer of minority background like myself. The closure of the main club on Michigan Ave only adds to the sense of alienation felt by loyal patrons who once thrived in its vibrant atmosphere. It's saddening to witness Tin Can Bar, a place that once encouraged artists to shape their own vibe, now seemingly isolating a significant portion of its clientele. While I commend the dedicated team and bouncers who have always made patrons feel safe and welcomed, it's essential for management to reassess these unnecessary changes. Embracing diversity and inclusivity should be at the core of Tin Can's ethos, not a casualty of misguided policies.Furthermore, I urge management to consider reintroducing food options to the strip, enhancing the overall experience for patrons and revitalizing the sense of community that Tin Can Bar once embodied. In conclusion, I implore Tin Can Bar's management to listen to the concerns of their loyal customers and strive to do better. Let's work together to ensure that Tin Can remains a place where everyone feels valued and embraced.

Stopped in and overall the vibe was good. Only upset cause I told the bartender what I typically get at a bar, and asked what he’d recommend, and he just gave me what I typically get at a bar rather than giving me suggestions on other options. They did have pretty cool chalk art on the walls tho!
