Weird atmosphere. Staff didn’t seem to know what was going on. When we asked for food recommendations our server said “Everything is an acquired taste here”. Very odd.

I don't appreciate a meal being served during the comedy show. That is disrespectful to the performers. I was served a meal containing meat when I ordered vegetarian. The atmosphere is nice. The staff were nice and the bartender was great.

I like this cozy venue, it's small intimate serves, food, alcohol, and beer. They have many different Acts from comedy to music. I would say that the food and drinks are reasonably priced.

We attended an event here to see a friend. I had never been, and was given the impression is was a nice place. The building was quite nice, but they oversold tickets, packing more people in than I can believe is legal. Their was almost no elbow room and many of the tables for this "premier" venue were plastic folding tables. This led to the worst part, the food and drinks. We arrived a little early and waited almost an hour for a server to stop at our table. Another half hour for our drinks, and they never came back for us to order food. After 3 hours almost nobody in the place even got a chance to order food, let alone get any. We left early to go eat at Ozones. The other piece that bothered me was that the musicians were great, and deserved better. The tickets had to be purchased, and were obviously oversold intentionally. The folks sitting next to us said this happens all the time. The Urban Beat just sells more tickets than seats and everyone has to suffer for it.

I was there for a company function we rented the business out for the evening. Let me tell you about the charcuterie table! Dried fruits, assorted nuts, vegetables, fresh fruits, meats and cheeses. They did an outstanding job on that. I really wish that our company selected them for the meals as well. We ended up out-sourcing the meal and it was from a local BBQ place. I won't say who but it was terrible. The manager and staff did a great job keeping everyone happy. I would recommend this place for small gatherings of 100 or less.

If i could give this place a ZERO I would. Been trying to book a reservation for this Saturday and I cannot get a hold of anyone via phone or email. Tried to book a reservation online via their website but it continues to freeze up on me. Very Frustrating!!!

My wife and I visited UrbanBeat for an evening of jazz. In terms of ambiance, decor, and vibe, this is a great scene. Lovely jazz set as well. We will definitely visit again. Drink selections were excellent, and they serve a variety of creative cocktails. Knocked a star off because the food was unmemorable. Nice that it's available in a club like this, but nothing to rave about.

First time there. Enjoyed the entertainment. Had the hummus and pita. A little bland. But ok. Will go back.
