There was no drink selection and I got charged $3 for water. The fridge holding their drinks was practically empty. We were given plastic silverware with the explanation that they were out of clean silverware (we came in 1 1/2 hours before closing). Now the food was amazing and I inhaled my dish. I would go back for the food, but would bring my own drinks and silverware. Trying to cut into food with plastic silverware wasn't the easiest.

As the title says, I love Veg Head. Their selection is great and I like how they have a very seasonal menu options. Their food is really good too! My favorite dishes are the kale pesto pasta, teriyaki quinoa, and the fried chicken tenders and the fries. I do wish they had a soda machine. The staff are all super sweet too.

I first asked the waitstaff what the most underrated appetizer was and they recommended the roasted Brussel sprouts and they were absolutely delicious, I would totally recommend. They also recommended me the chopped cheese which was super satisfying and the seitan and sauce were so good. When it came out, it had fries on the side, which I hadn’t ordered, and they weren’t great, cold and not crispy. I also got a small Mac and cheese, which was creamy, had plenty of sauce, great texture, but slightly bland. I will get the entree next time, with the toppings, to enhance the flavor. Overall great experience and totally recommend!

Great food. All vegetarian menu. Allergen conscious. Friendly staff. Exceedingly long wait for food (55 min wait with 2 orders of 2 lunches in front of our table of 2). Highly recommend to call ahead and pick up. Limited outdoor seating.

This place used to be so good, I don’t know what’s happened lately.

They had a tofu sandwich they made in house, now they use a processed Gardein Chickn patty and fry it then increased the price.

Cauliflower tacos are so skimpy, it’s the lowest amount of filling in a taco I’ve ever seen.

Quality of food largely depends on who’s working, it’s never consistent.

They are very stingy on ingredients for multiple dishes, even though you’re paying $15+ for lunch.

Exhibit A: Cauliflower Bowl - a few small pieces of cauliflower, small other ingredients, kale - $13

I had the black bean and corn tacos. It was really tasty. Everything looks vegetarian. Staff wasn't super friendly, but I'd come back for the tacos alone

The best vegan food in Lansing, the fries are perfect, everything is very good.

Nice and friendly atmosphere, relaxed and quiet.
The parking is paid and on the street.
Small wait on food, but not bad.
The actual meals I would say tasted 6/10 on flavour. But I do appreciate that this restaurant is fully vegan. Lansing isn’t much of a vegan town, so I really do appreciate that they are here.
No soups or warm drinks - surprising for the cold winter season. Consider introducing a winter/cold weather special.
I did like the art works on the walls and some vege themed memorabilia around.
Price wise, I wouldn’t call it extremely expensive, and definitely not cheap. The middle ground.
The waitress was friendly.

I came from out of town to taste their breaded portabello mushrooms. The atmosphere was very calm, relaxed and inviting. The veggie vibes were vibin' I ordered my shrooms....customer service was good. Received my shrooms😁🤗😆👉🏽😒😟🤔😔

The breading was not favorable to me. For the shrooms to be portabellos they were small. , I did expect the shroom to be larger. Overall, I did not like the taste.

Hardly any vegetables here, mostly ordinary meat & potatoes, I don't get it.

Not a vegan, but have thoroughly enjoyed every bite of everything I've ordered from Veg Head. Only minor complaint is that service can sometimes be slow, but IMHO, the food is worth the wait!

Easy to get to, easy parking, and the food was all fresh, hot, and delicious.

Went here today for the first time. Placed a takeout order and it took them almost 30 minutes to make me the southwest bowl which is essentially just a salad with beans, cheese, corn jalapeños and quinoa. There were maybe 3-4 other customers there so they were not busy. Bad service plus overpriced food equals not worth coming back.

It was challenging to choose from the very large menu. I got the buffalo wings (cauliflower) and Brussel sprouts (baked). Very delicious… a bit oily but I love oily food. The choice of sauces was also extensive and delicious.

Unreal plant-based cheeseburger. Wish I had the recipe ?
