According to their Facebook page, Veg-N is currently closed for the rest of the year and will be operating as a good truck in 2024.While not a vegan, I do love trying vegan offerings. The opportunity arose when I was craving a really good burger on a Saturday when all the nearby good local non-chain meat based burger places are closed. The Classic Cheeze Smash Burger really scratched that itch and was better burger than going to a fast food place. The Brisket Basket fries were sweet and savory. I definitely want to return and try their other items in the future.

I wish I would have had this place available as a kid growing up in the Lansing area. If I had, I would have had something to compare the restaurants from LA and Austin to before I eventually went to those cities and tried food and ambiance that's way better than this place. Veg-n feels like it's way better than the dumpster of North Lansing deserves but it's a far cry from "great". We found the food very uninspired, bland, and full of grease (this usually happens to make up for poor food quality). The building has been fixed a bit but could use some serious renovation and cleaning. Still, it's a good attempt for the area and I hope it inspires other entrepreneurs to do better. In the meantime I can't see us going back to this location. If you find yourself wanting to hit this place with five stars, I highly recommend you get out of Michigan and explore a little.

BEST VEGAN RESTAURANT IN TOWN - If I could take a friend to only one vegan restaurant in town, or if I wanted to impress a non-vegan, I would take them here. You can't go wrong with ordering any of the sandwiches, burgers, or desserts.

We had a black bean burger with all the fixings and a black bean Reuben on their new gluten free pita with fries and a taco salad with spicy ranch. Everything tasted amazing and really had that greasy drive through fast food feel but 100% vegan.They forgot to ring us up for an order of fries at first but they made us a fresh batch and even brought our dog some biscuits to make up for the mistake. We really appreciated the gesture and it says a lot about the values of the business and its employees!Very satisfied with the food and friendly service!

Discovered this place a year ago and it's so good! The not-dogs and carrot dogs are a must, the huge menu of tasty vegan food gives you a lot of options, and it's in a historic building! The owner and staff are really helpful and friendly -- this place is a must every time I'm in the Lansing area

I love this place and should probably go more often. Dropped in on my birthday and ordered my fave -- the jala-jala chick-n and fries, and they threw in a free "ice cream" sandwich for my birthday! Every time I have been here the staff have been very helpful about explaining dishes, making suggestions, and this is not the first time I have been offered a free dessert!Vegetarian options: Everything here is vegan.

My girlfriend and I makes plans on road trips to visit vegan restaurants. Coming back to GR from Ann Arbor, we had planned to stop here and were not disappointed. She had a chickn sammich (pictured) and I had the rueben B-N burger. (I deeply apologize for not having a picture but I ate it before that thought crossed my mind). It was that damn good! We shared a basket of sweet potato fries with jalapeño ranch which was amazing, as well. Their sauces are house-made and quite literally the bomb. I highly recommend this place if you are a local OR sojourner vegan.Kid-friendliness: Vegan cookies, stickers, kid-centric vegan coloring pages with good information on them for kids to 'digest'.

We order over $60 worth of food and maybe for someone who likes vegan junk food or is curious about substitutes for meat, possibly but we were disappointed with the quality and overall taste of our food. It seemed as though the “chicken” was nothing more than Boca Patties and the “wings” were very disappointing for the prices! They seemed to be Gardein chicken wings/tenders. If a restaurant is going to use these mock meats may be try to transform them in the dish and make them a bit more of personalized recipe for their restaurant. It was just a no for us. Some of the food went uneaten, unfortunately. However, the chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich was tasty!
