I didn't have a horrible experience per se for this review but more so the food quality, and atmosphere.
It's the most depressing fast food restaurant/place to eat. Maybe lighten up with some music? The two employees seemed lifeless and bored and disappeared to the back while a customer waited for a few mins. It was not busy at all for lunch.
We did the half and half soup and sandwich but the half sandwich barely had anything in it, seemed more like a quarter. I ordered the turkey club with bacon. The bacon is bacon bits and not real strips of bacon, one piece of turkey and half a slice of cheese, soaked up with mayo.
First time here and don't think we'll be back.

The soups, salads and sandwiches are all delicious and make the perfect lunch or mid day meal. I love the tomato soup, all of the salads. The bread makes each sandwich amazing.

Went there on March 8 2025 around 11 30am the gurl at the counter with tattoos and dark brown hair was very rude! She never said hello to me or the other lady that walked in. Once she handed me the food she literally slid it across the counter turned her back and walked away! She didn't say anything! That is very, very poor customer service! U can lose business if that is how she is with anyone! Definitely won't be back!

Very underated soups, best in michigan, chicken pot pie for the cold winter taste so good for the active work outdoors recommended try sample of variants of different type of soups changes daily can't wait to try them all after lunch

So Friendly & welcoming, gives you that comfort vibe when you walk in as well as the menu, super delicious! My favorite part is how active in the community this location is, dressing up in super cool costumes for the events, engaging with everyone downtown and making our community feel happy with all their enthusiasm! Grateful to have them with us in our very own Downtown Lansing. ?

Amazing soups, extremely kind and welcoming staff (it was our first time today) who gave us the run down and offered testers of the soups! Atmosphere is very panera esc, though it smells AMAZING inside. Highly recommend!

Dietary restrictions: They have restrictions listed on cards for each soup.

Use to enjoy and now everytime I come in I feel the staff doesn't care about what they do and the quality of food keeps going down. I ordered a caprese flatbread that came out LOADED with so much cheese it made it soggy. I also ordered a fiesta chicken wrap and they leafy greens they used inside still had a giant stem attached. I almost hurt my tooth trying to bite it. Get rid of the apathetic kids and get people who care in there.
