Updating from a deleted review- I had a less than pleasant experience today at Zoup and I appreciate how the owner validated my concerns and even refunded my order (I was not expecting that but it is appreciated). Thank you for your willingness to make things right. In my many years of going here I’ve typically had great experiences!

I ordered the Ladled Lobster macaroni twice this week. It’s amazing. The flavors taste expensive. The macaroni is so creamy and has the best texture. The pie crust topping is an interesting surprise. Love it.

Always out of something or takes forever. This time their oven was down so everything had to be served cold. Maybe put out a sign so people don’t wait in line and waste 15 minutes of their lunch hour to find out they can’t have a hot sandwich
Very disappointed. One of the rudest cashiers I have ever experienced. I ordered the street corn grain bowl with extra chicken and extra cheddar. Not a fan of Kale (or extra crunch lettuce) so in the picture that has been picked out. The taste of the chicken was good, the combo actually really good. But maybe extra chicken and instead of extra cheese, no cheese and no roasted corn. I would have taken it back, but man that cashier was scary.

Absolutely delicious! The grilled cheese and tomato soup was very filling and simply amazing. The Mac and cheese was most definitely a new favorite. Fast friendly service I will highly recommend.

Nice clean place. Friendly staff. Not a place you'd traditionally tip at, but they ask rather than pay staff appropriately. You want me to tip before my food is made at a place where I have to pick up my food and clear my tray into the trash? Won't return until I hear this corrected.

My favorite lunch place in downtown Lansing.Edit (6/5/23): I visited Zoup! for the first time 3-4 months. I ordered the spicy crab and the stuffed pepper. They both tasted great, however they were both very overcooked. Everything was mushy in both soups with no real texture. They reminded me of cafeteria canned soup. A little disappointing.
