Good food, not that great of service. For instance when they are closed they didn't update their site. I ordered $50 in food for the family and paid for it only to walk up to the door at pick up and they were closed and I never even got my money back. Another time I went there for food and I decided to have a beer and the girl left me and didn't come back to take my order, probably hoping I would order more drinks but in reality I didn't and I left hungry and now I had alcohol in my system without food and had to drive. I had to get food elsewhere. Couldn't even finish the beer cause I was actually just there for food.

The first time I was in the bartender ignored me for ten minutes while they served my friends until I asked a different bartender to get my drink. About a month later I'm in there with the same friends and they start putting the chairs on the tables at 130 am on a Friday night and dumped my friends nearly full drink out while we were outside smoking. They were by no means slow enough to start closing up that early. Terrible service. Don't recommend.

Cheers has got to be the most happening joint in Lapeer. As I have said before, it's the people who make the bar, and this place has a very friendly vibe. This is the first place that I've seen Giant Jenga being played in a bar, and it drew in nearly everyone, creating a level of excitement all its own. I hear that sometimes there is a live band, and there are also nights for karaoke.
I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla, and it was delicious and satisfying. If you like bacon, which who doesn't, this Quesadilla has it, and it added a wonderful flavor. The Tequila Sunrise was spot on, and they don't skimp on the portion.
This is the spot for a great time in Lapeer, and I highly recommend this if you're looking for a great night out, whatever your legal age. I saw people here, young and older, all having a blast.
