I want to start off by saying I’ve frequented cream/dagwoods deli for years. The sandwiches are so yummy and I often find myself craving them! Main thing is they are super pricey. Over $30 for two cold cut sandwiches? And that’s without sides or drinks. That just seems like a lot for me. Especially in this economy. Their homemade pop tarts rung up to be over $12 for two. Two pop tarts are over $12? I know that price comes from the labor and love as well as the uniqueness of the flavors, but it’s hard to justify that price for a little sweet treat. I loved the flavor of their mixed berry tart, but today their flavors tasted really off like almost mildewy, not sure if it’s just my tastebuds though…

Excellent sandwiches, super friendly service. Cute concept of sandwiches one side and coffee/desserts adjoining. Lighting was a bit dim but the overall aesthetic was vintage in an intentional way.

Hours are 10a-3p on Friday. Arrived at 10:15 and the doors were locked. Not even a sign up. Bummer. I was looking forward to trying this well reviewed deli. Hope they did not have an emergency!

They handle lunch rushes extremely professionally! I was so impressed with how quickly they were able to get approximately 15 of us out the door…
I have been coming here for lunch consistently and trying out their menu, so far I haven’t found a thing I don’t like! Such unique, filling, and fresh sandwiches/wraps. You get what you pay for, the quality is unmatched, especially for the area. Favorite lunch spot in Lapeer by far! Coffee is fantastic as well, love the espresso!

Without a doubt, the best local eatery in all of Lapeer ❤️!!! All meat and produce is local and organic. The business is women owned by the sweetest mother-daughter duo. They also have a cute little coffee shop immediately attached and that’s also 10/10 amazing. Delicious homemade pop tarts!!!!! Peyton is a coffee chemist and the brightest person you’ll ever meet :) ask about their sandwich of the week and soup of the day! i can’t wait for their fall specials to release!!!

Had the sandwich wrap of the week and split it with my wife. Turkey, provolone cheese, candied pecans, spinach, red onion, peach jalepeno aioli, spinach wrap. Delicious and plenty to satiate the hunger. Service was positive and energetic. The name of the place was a blast from the past as I use to read the Dagwood/Blondie comic in the Sunday newspaper as a kid. Well done.
