First time trying the New york strip steak special, it was very good cooked medium and seasoned very well, even the add on mushrooms were seasoned. A very enjoyable evening out. Our waitress was very nice and kept drinks filled. Will be back. They were just finishing putting up Xmas tree such a pretty festive tree.

The Steak was undercooked twice. i asked for medium and got rare twice. it was seared only on one side and little to no taste on the steak. if you come here for steak prepare to be disappointed

Had a great experience at Lake Inn! Our waitress was super upbeat and friendly, which made the meal even better. We both ordered the fish and chips, and they were delicious—crispy, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The bill came to just under $50 for the two of us, which felt very fair for the quality and portion size.
The restaurant is spotless and well-maintained, and I liked that there are about seven televisions positioned around the dining area, so you can catch the game no matter where you sit. Overall, great food, great service, and a clean, comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping in! There is also a very beautiful lake view.

Sooo. I have reviewed this restaurant before with 5 stars. I am changing this because they used to have the best burger in Lapeer. We do not know what happened but the burgers are no longer even considered good. The medium burger was well done. The burger extended at least an inch over a bun that was crushed and nasty. You could get a better bun at Walmart which are almost nasty. Don't know what is going on but they need to at least go to a store and buy better buns and relearn how to grill the burgers. Staff as always are exceptional.

I ordered the loaded potato soup to go. I stood at the register for 5 minutes while an employee stood with her back to me on her phone the whole time. Finally a young man come and helped me he was very friendly. My soup was barely warm at all and they didn't even give me a spoon so I will not get anything to go from there again.
