Had a wonderful experience at lighting rounds. Our waitress Lindsay N was wonderful even made me a drink that was not on the menu. Food and drinks were the best!

Thunder Dome party room rental is absolutely amazing! Lots of room, full bar, stage, and wonderful staff! The food and service for my daughter's birthday party was top notch and friendly! Extremely reasonable pricing! Drink package is seperate from the food which is $15pp. The Mac n cheese is outstanding. The sliders and wings were great as well! I highly recommend this venue!

Good food! First off... the fish tacos?! Wow! HUGE portion of fish- one taco is pretty filling! Same with the egg rolls. These aren't your typical Chinese take out small ones. They are thickkkkk! The southwest one was amazing! My husband really loved the shoestring fries and the "Southern chick" chicken sandwich and he put their hot honey on it. Also can't speak highly enough of the cheese curds! They got this bomb sauce (a herbed butter maybe?) they brush on them and it's so good!! We both weren't a fan of the wings (we got them naked with hot honey on the side) but we both prefer fried wings instead of smoked. So if you like smoked wings they will probably be right up your alley. I did a take out order but all the staff were very friendly. Will definitely return!

I want to preface this by saying I love love love woodchips, I’m never disappointed by them. So when we decided to try lightning rounds we were expecting the same quality except it’s closer to our house. We had the 3 brisket sliders, loaded American fries and the big Bavarian. First issue, website said 45-50 minutes before it would be done. My husband showed up in 45-50 minutes and when he got home with it it had clearly been sitting there much longer, we put our phone number in so it would’ve been nice if someone would’ve called and said “your order will be done in about 20 minutes actually if you’d like to show up then?” So that the melted cheese wasn’t hard and we didn’t have to reheat all of it.
The brisket sliders were like jerky on a really tasty bun, I’m not expecting immaculate brisket, but as a person with healthy teeth it was difficult for me to eat. The “loaded” American fries weren’t really loaded and didn’t have much cheese on them at all, the cheese it did have was extremely hard at the bottom of the box, I’m still not sure they even gave us ranch. I don’t know what blue cheese tastes like but the dip they gave us with the fries tasted like a lot of sour cream mixed with a little ranch (could’ve been blue cheese but idk). The big Bavarian was great after we heated it up in the oven, it was perfect and I loved the cheese dip.
