Cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff who have been there for years, lite turnover. Food very good, nice helpings. You can request light batter on chicken or fish, tweaks on cooking (dark fries), lettuce as a bun. Love the thick juicy pork chops, so large we always have plenty for the next day.

Sam is by far one of my favorite breakfast places. It's been a traditional breakfast stop for my family for generations. Great atmosphere, and the staff is absolutely AMAZING! I've never been disappointed with my food. Neither has my kiddos. Service most times is beyond our expectations. We try to stay away from busy times and days, so that might be a factor. Last 3 Saturdays we've gone we've ordered and had our food within minutes. I love how there are several waitresses that have been there through the years. Highly recommend their breakfast. Pretty much everything is amazing.
Highly recommend. Top restaurant for my family. We travel from North Branch almost every Saturday lately to go here. (There are technically 5 closer breakfast places we could go, one only 5 minutes from our home, if that tells you anything.)

LOVE Sams, have been going since I was a kid. Would LOVE to give a 5 star review but just can't. The food is always good, staff are great but the lack of wheel chair accessibility makes me not give a 5 star review.
Front door has a LARGE bump for a wheel chair. Doors do not have buttons to hold open and are extremely hard to navigate with a wheel chair.
The only table to sit a wheel chair at leaves you in the middle of the walk way and is not a great experience as everyone has to either bumb into you or walk all the way around you.
The bathroom is located at the back with a VERY tight sharp 90° turn to get to it. Bathroom is so small and does not accommodate the wheel chair.
There is a ramp at the back, however is is extremely steep and always very greasy as they take the restaurants garbage out on. Even with a person infront and a person in back of the chair it is still a horrible ramp.
I understand it's an old building but some accommodations for wheel chairs would make me visit so much more.
