a little hidden gem in mid Michigan worth the drive.
We have loved eating at crossroads for quite a few years. Our last couple of visits have been extremely disappointing. On one occasion i ordered a half salad. When delivered it was no larger than a side salad and cost $10.49. I said something today when we returned and while the salad was a little bigger it was still small and was nothing other than iceberg lettuce and chicken. I won't be ordering a salad again. Crossroads Grill and Bar serves surprisingly good food, with a nice salad bar, properly prepared burgers, and very good homemade soups. The restaurant offers a quaint atmosphere with a cool assortment of games in the back. They have the best Western burger and killer waffle fries! The tacos were the best ever, with yummy, crunchy shells, and the chicken wings were top notch. The food is reasonably priced and the service is usually good, making it a step above the average neighborhood bar/restaurant. On Saturdays, they offer outstanding Southern BBQ.
