“Amazing desserts! We got 2 dozen cannolis and 3 cheesecakes for our parents' 75th birthday event. We had ZERO cannolis left and the cheesecakes were AWESOME. I would highly recommend Main Street Bakery & Cafe for your special events, as well as your everyday goodies.”

“I am convinced this is one of the best Subway locations, possibly in existence. The staff is so fun and kind, the restaurant is clean, and the food is fresh. I go out of my way to go to this location, partly because of those reasons, and also because they don't mix the teriyaki sauce with their chicken. Some locations do that and it does not have the same quality of taste. Well done!”

“A quaint place halfway between a restaurant and a bar. A cool assortment of games in the back. The food was good for a reasonable price. Had some fried pickles and a side salad. Our waitress was a saint who made us and our kids feel welcomed.”

“The workers at this location are absolutely phenomenal. I ordered and payed for a double quarter pounder and received a single. I called to let them know the mistake and was offered a free double quarter pounder. Can't complain about that but when I got to the speaker I was asked if I wanted to order anything and ended up with a free medium shake thrown in as well. Talk about making it right. They have gained loyalty from me and I will make this particular location a regular stop any time I'm in town, which is often. Thank you all of you workers for your caring generosity.”

“If you like pizza, and you like a combination of sweet and spicy- The Brick City is amazing.And look at the size of that thing!Been going to the Jackson location for years.Most restaurants start cutting corners after about a year.I see no evidence of that here.GREAT stuff.”

“Hometown pizzeria, small business, and locally owned for many years. When I compare pizza, I compare it to Westside's every single time and there really hasn't been one that I can walk in and get a slice at any time like Barnhill's Westside. The place has never changed since I was a kid, and they have many options made from scratch. Subs, pizza, wings, ribs, breadsticks, soups, or a home-baked dessert you simply cannot go wrong here! Even the single slices of pan pizzas to go are my utmost favorite when I am back home. A pan pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms is simply amazing. Rob is a good guy and makes sure everything is consistently done right, everyone that works there is nice and their pride shows. They've got plenty of drinks and snacks inside as well...and a cool front door! I love Westside!!Vegetarian options: Their veggie subs are delish!!!!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of pop and snacks inside, but you can't beat the pizza!”

“I've been patronizing The Vault Deli since its opening. The sandwiches there are wonderful as is the coleslaw and potato salad. They use top quality ingredients for their sandwiches and it shows in the final product. One thing I love is the consistency of their output. They also sell craft beers, craft soda and wines.The negatives are the prices, the speed of service and limited seating on the premises. Prices at The Vault have gone up considerably since Covid as they have at restaurants everywhere. The service is polite and the employees are helpful. Since each order is made to order it takes a little longer to get your food. It is well worth the wait. I'm willing to wait a little longer for great quality. Since I usually get my food to go seating isn't an issue for me.The Vault is in an old bank building. The vault is still in the building and is used as a walk in wine area where bottles of wine are displayed for sale. I'm no wine connoisseur but The few bottles I e not there have been great.Taking everything in to consideration I give The Vault my highest recommendation.”

“There's not enough I can say about this place. I grew up eating here several times a week. I lived right around the corner on Steele St so it was a must. This place has very reasonable prices and a huge selection to choose from.I have since moved away however whenever I am back in town it's a must stop. They are seasonal and only open Memorial Day through Labor Day. This place is everyone friendly even pets! I used to take my Rottweiler there every time we went for a walk and she would patiently wait for her cone to come out, once it did it did not last long. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. The food that they serve has also been really good and again at a fair price when everyone else has raised prices. They have seating on the sides of the business and there's room to park all around the business. This is a Mason Michigan Staple, if you're ever passing through you have to stop in and get some ice cream. Yes I am bias but this is the best ice cream you will find, I love the Dairy Hill and will always go there when ever I am in town! Thank You Dairy hill for 40 plus years of my life for the best ice cream around!”

“Took a neighbor to Archey's Bar & Grill for his birthday ? he ordered the olive burger with sweet potato fries, and I ordered the wet burrito. I must admit, looking at that olive burger & fries had me drooling!? Of course mine was good, huge...made for 2 filling meals. The service was quick, pleasant and definitely will be back!”

“I love coming in to the Mason Big Boy for a quick meal. Staff is always welcoming and treats you better than family. The hostess is super kind and helpful. Their food is always what I expect. (The new chicken wrap is great!) plus, they play great music from a few generations ago making the place feel like a diner I remember as a kid growing up on the 80’s. Keep it up Big Boy!”

“For a gas station, they have good pizza. They sell it by the slice, or you can order a whole pizza. Crust is great, toppings are good, but sauce lacks flavor. In my opinion, if they changed their sauce, it would be a 5 star pizza.”

“Went in for lunch today. The place was extremely clean. Our server Sabrina was very knowledgeable of the menu, very pleasant and extremely friendly. Our food was very well priced as the same prices were as anywhere else you go. The food was excellent. We will definitely be back. I had the brisket mac and cheese, and my husband had the Tipsy Cali. It's nice to be able to go somewhere, and it's not the same type of food like everywhere else in town!”

“The service is fast and friendly and a half sub is perfectly adequate for two tasty meals for me. The location is inside a gas station convenience store so that is why the lesser rating on "atmosphere." But the Jersey Giant side is clean and nice.”

“The owner was really nice, the place is clean and spacious. We were the only diners in what was a huge dining room for a Chinese restaurant, but the take out business was brisk. The green bean dish was outstanding. The other dish, the owner recommended. They have an American style menu and an "authentic" section. I don't remember the name dish but it was listed as spicy. I think the owner may have asked how spicy I liked it (spicy but not too hot, you know they sometimes use a lot of those little red peppers, it gives the dish good flavor but I wouldn't eat one) but it wasn't spicy enough and it didn't impress me as authentic either. Nonetheless it was pretty good and my son and I had a good time. One more plus- the tea was really tasty and uniquely flavorful- like flowers.”
