A quaint place halfway between a restaurant and a bar. A cool assortment of games in the back. The food was good for a reasonable price. Had some fried pickles and a side salad. Our waitress was a saint who made us and our kids feel welcomed.

Saturday Southern BBQ. Food was outstanding. My wife's brisket was great. Bothsides, scalloped potatoes and cole slaw, were excellent. Had the 1/2 slab of ribs which was ample and tasty. Baked beans were some of the best ever had. Service was attentive and very good. Ordered carrot cake, which we really didn't need, and it was again very good. Don't live close, but will start finding an excuse to venture their way.

Hesitant to go here anymore after hearing a server being openly ungrateful over a 15% tip and insult the customer after they were gone. A tip is a gratuity not an entitlement, so don't expect every one to be 20% or more. If you manage to earn a tip and it's not enough, maybe try being more attentive and hospitable. Otherwise work somewhere else because you're hurting your business and your wages by being unpleasant. It has not gone unnoticed that the food portions are smaller and the prices went up, significantly. If you want continued business don't complain about your paying customers when you didn't do a stellar job in the first place. It's cheaper to eat at home. People go out to pay for food and good service, and there are lots of other places we can choose to spend our time and money. Wishing Crossroads all the best, but this business is bound for failure if it continues to operate how has been recently. Good manners cost you nothing. Bad manners cost you everything.

Saturdays are a must visit. Those are BBQ days, and it is delicious. Any other day you walk in, you will be greeted and have efficient service.Kid-friendliness: I took my son in for dinner a wee k or 2 ago. He was spending his own money so he had to take his time!? He did great, and I appreciate the server answering all questions with kindness and patience.

Stopped in for a quick bite on our way back home. Surprised for a little popup bbq in the back and it was good. They had a good handful of sides available as well. Also try the sampler platter w/ chicken tenders, poppers, fried pickles and waffle fries. Wish the waffle fries were better seasoned, but the homemade ranch helped fill the gap. The ranch is a little thicker, but it was a good homemade ranch. Service was good as well. No complaints.
We stopped by for BBQ Saturday and we're disappointed. The food was amazing.

Stopped in for the new menu with friends tonight. Between us went with Southwestern bowl, Mac and cheese bowl, classic club and Blackhawk burger. They were slammed for dinner but did a good job getting the food out and keeping drinks filled. Minor snafu on the club but our waitress Shannon fixed it on my to go order. Giant piece of coffee cake. We'll be back!

Stars would have been 0 for service if possible. A table of 4 should never get their food at different times. You should never have to go to the bar to get your own drinks. While sitting there waiting and waiting while watching the waitress stand at the end of the bar laughing with a guy at the bar. NEVER NEVER going back until the old owners come back. WE DROVE ABOUT 15 miles for a horrible experience.
