My son and I visited yesterday and noticed the employee was sweating profusely, even though the central air appeared to be working and fans were running. My son really enjoyed the ice cream. There was a large variety of flavors. To me, the ice cream tasted like it had been sitting in the freezer uncovered, but I will say it tasted natural and wasn’t overly sweet like many others.
While we were eating, I noticed the employee repeatedly looking toward the ceiling. Later, a Black mother and daughter entered and were told there was a ceiling leak and they could not stay inside because it might cave in, which caught me off guard since we had not been notified. Shortly after, when a Black couple approached, the employee quickly came from around the counter and told them the store was closed because the ceiling was leaking and could cave in. That was when my son and I were asked to leave.
I do not know the employee’s intentions and can only describe what I personally observed, but the instructions given to customers appeared inconsistent.
The ice cream itself was very good, but the handling and communication of the situation left me feeling awkward.

The clerk in the store is one of the most friendliest person and makes your visit very pleasant in the ice cream is some of the best.
I found their strawberry milk at a local farmer's market (Block's -- Romulus) last summer and absolutely LOVED it! Found the dairy store and it is a weekly stop now for milk even though it's a little out of the way. Creamline Milk is a game changer! Helpful staff, good local products, reasonable prices, great quality. I don't have the T-shirt yet but I will!

I just found out about Calder a few weeks ago. This is my second trip here. The milk takes me back to my early schools days, so fresh and yummy. The service is great, you're in and out so quickly.
